Today is called Yom HaZikaron,The day to remember. It’s not hard.

All of us have had moments like this before.We throw the ball and wait to see where it lands.We take a test and the teacher hands it back with the grade on it.

We say something and wait for the reply.

These are tense moments…Moments when we find out how well or poorly we are doing.

Rosh HaShanah is that moment when God lets us know how we are doing…and gives us ten days to change our ways.

God is the Creator of the Universe.That means God has more power than we do.God controls the stars, the seasons, the molecules, the weather and our bodies.

There is only so much we can do…But what we can do is important.Even though we can never finish repairing the world we can do our part.
