    Step by Step

    Installation Methodology

    1. Position, as close as possible to the canal vertical wall, at least 4 TenCate Geobag Filling Frames

    2. Place the TenCate lifting harness inside the Filling Frames

    3. Place the open top TenCate Geobag units inside the Filling Frames 4. Using imported Sand, fill the TenCate Geobag units to the design level with a front end loader 5. Close the top of the TenCate Geobag using TenCate specified method 6. Connect TenCate Geobag lifting harness to spreader bar 7. Barge mounted crane moves to the edge of the work area and lifts Geobag units onto barge 8. Barge is repositioned above scour area

    9. Crane lifts TenCate Geobag units from deck of barge and lowers into place while communicat-ing with divers and using GPS to insure exact placement location

    10.Follow procedure for each Geobag placement 11.While TenCate Geobag units are being placed in the scour area by the barge mounted crane,

    work team onshore will be repeating steps 2 thru 6

    12.After completion of the TenCate Geobag containment structure, Grout will be pumped into the scour area under the slab
