GENERAL NOTES

Situation Overbank Farm lies South of Broken Cross and has easy access via the A537 and B5392 From the Bulls Head Public House and Tesco Express at Broken Cross on the A537 pick up the B5392 towards Holmes Chapel. Travel 30 yards South and turn immediately right signed Holmes Chapel towards Siddington into Pexhill Road on the B5392. Continue out of the built up area and after ¾ mile the access lane to Overbank Farm lies on the left. Travel up the lane and around the bend with the car park lying on the right hand side. From Congleton pick up the A536 signposted Macclesfield and after several miles pass the Harrington Arms Public House on the right. After 1 ½ miles turn left into Dark Lane and continue for approximately 2 miles (do not turn right). At the T junction on the B5392 turn right and travel 2 miles north towards Broken Cross. The access lane to Overbank Farm lies on the right with the car park lying after the right on the bend.

‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

FOREWORD

The sale at Overbank Farm arises as a result of the retirement of Mr Tony and Mrs Linda Vernon having farmed at Gawsworth for 30 years. The milking herd has already been dispersed from the farm and this leaves an excellent range of machinery, sundries and effects for the genuine dispersal. The Massey Ferguson 4345 together with the Quad Bike have seen very little work and are in very good order. Purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this very genuine retirement dispersal.
