This user guide is to introduce the usage of HKBN Smart App for Smart Robot

Vacuum with smart action examples only. For the following details, please

refer to the instruction in the package:

• Charging;

• Wipe Cleaning Function;

• Assembly & Operating Instruction;

• Cleaning and Storage;

• Troubleshooting etc.

Add Device 1. You must first connect your phone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network when

adding device. 2. Tap “Devices” on the bottom menu. (image 1) 3. Tap “Add Device” button OR “+” icon at top right corner if you already

have paired device. (image 2)

Add Device 4. Tap “Gemini Smart Robot Vacuum” from left menu “Home Appliance”.

5. Turn on device and then hold the TIMER button (image 2) until the Wi-Fi indicator blinks (image 2)

6. Select 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter password*，and then tap

“Next”. (image 1) 7. Please wait a moment while your device is in pairing process. (image

⚫ Currently all smart devices are compatible to 2.4GHz network only. Please make sure that your device and mobile are connected with 2.4GHz but not 5GHz Wi-Fi network.

⚫ If you have 5GHz network and by using the same network name (SSID) as the 2.4GHz network, please temporarily turn off the 5GHz network first before adding device.

8. After device added successfully, you can change the device name and assign it to the located room. (You can also change the device name and room location later in device setting page and room management page.) And you can find the Gemini Smart Robot Vacuum in the “Device” page.

• Switch On/Off You can press the buttom power button to turn ON/OFF your Smart Robot Vacuum remotely (The power button on vacuum must be ON). Control panel screen will become dim when it’s OFF. (image 1) Tap this button again will switch off the device.

• Adjust Driving Direction You can adjust the driving direction by tap on the direction icon, including forward, backward, left and right rotation. Tap the black triangle icon to play and pause the operation of the robot vacuum.

• Mode Selection In order to adapt to different ground conditions and realize deep cleaning, this device has a variety of cleaning modes. User can use the HKBN Smart App control different cleaning mode: Auto Cleaning mode (Mapping function): Robot vacuum cleaner Choose Auto Cleaning mode, hear “Auto Cleaning” response sound from the vacuum cleaner, it will plans full coverage cleaning. Strong / Normal suction mode: Press Strong / Normal suction mode, hear “Normal mode” response sound from the vacuum cleaner. It means Strong mode under Auto Cleaning mode and can apply to Edge or Spot Cleaning mode, press Strong / Normal suction mode again, hear “Normal mode” response sound. It means Normal mode under Auto Cleaning mode and can apply to Edge or Spot Cleaning mode. Voice: Tap to enable/disable voice notification. Spot Cleaning mode: Choose Spot cleaning mode, hear “Spot Cleaning” response sound from the vacuum cleaner, it will focus on specific areas, cleaning more thorough and pause after finish the spot cleaning. Spot cleaning mode is recommended use in the living room or other areas with fewer obstacles. Edge Cleaning mode: Choose edge cleaning mode, hear “Edge Cleaning” response sound from the vacuum cleaner, it will along with the object edge cleaning (such as wall edge) especially cleaning the corner of the house. Auto Charging function: Choose “Dock” function, or when the power of the vacuum is low, hear “Find Charging station” response sound from the vacuum cleaner, it will find the charging station automatically.

• “Schedule”: automated ON/OFF function You can set automated schedule to turn ON/OFF your robot vacuum: 1. Tap “Schedule” (image 1); 2. Tap “Add” (image 2);

3. Select the time you need and then tap “Switch”(image 1); 4. Select “On” or “Off” (image 2); 5. Tap the button to enable or disable this schedule (image 3).

Scene (Smart Action) The integration of different smart devices is the beauty of smart home living which provides convenience and many possibilities of creating your preferred control settings. By setting SCENE, you can execute different smart devices at the same time by only one single tap. You can tailor make your unique scene such as movie time scene, welcome/back home scene, reading scene etc.

User Voice Command to Turn On/Off Robot Vacuum

Instructions below explain how to create a Scene:

1. In “Smart Action” under the page of

“Scene”, tap “+”to add new Scene, and

then tap “Add Action”

2. Select Vacuum and tap “Switch”, and

then select “On”. (If turn off the Vacuum

then select “Off”)

3. Tap to enable “Show on Dashboard

corner to complete

How to add Siri Command into Scene:

• Check for Firmware Upgrade Tap “Check for Firmware Upgrade”, you can see current firmware version and available upgrade version if any. Tap “Upgrade” to start firmware upgrade.
