To approve order/resolution authorizing a filing fee of $15.00 in each case filedin a Dallas County civil court as defined in Section 51.705, Texas GovernmentCode; directing that all funds collected pursuant to Section 51.705, TexasGovernment Code, shall be sent to the County Treasurer, who shall deposit suchfunds in a special account in the county depository dedicated to the construction,renovation, or improvement of the facilities that house the Dallas County civilcourts; directing that this resolution shall continue in force and effect from yearto year through July 1, 2016, unless rescinded earlier by the CommissionersCourt; and directing that a copy of this Resolution be delivered to the CountyTreasurer to be filed as required by Section 51.705(e)(3), Texas GovernmentCode.

To approve order/resolution stating that the Commissioners Court of DallasCounty, in compliance with Section 51 .705(e)(2), Texas Government Code, doeshereby commit to spend one dollar of county funds to match each dollar takenfrom the special fund created by Section 51 .705 for the construction, renovation,or improvement of facilities that house the Dallas County civil courts; stating thatin compliance with Section 51.705(i) the County may make these requiredexpenditures at any time, regardless of when the expenditures from the specialaccount occur; and directing that a copy of this Resolution be delivered to theCounty Treasurer to be filed as required by Section 51.705(e)(3), TexasGovernment Code.

To approve order extending current contract (Bid No. 2000-208-592 - AnnualContract for the Purchase and Printing of Court Case Jacket/File Folders [DistrictClerk] ) with Duradex, Inc. for an additional twelve (12) month period, effectiveSeptember 5, 2001 through September 4, 2002.

To approve order authorizing the County Judge to sign a contract amendmentwith the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) to extend theinternship of Kenneth Rush in the Public Works Department for an additional eight(8) weeks, effective June 1, 2001 through July 31, 2001.

35. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.1 to cooperate withthe City of Coppell in improvements to Coppell Road, from Bethel Road to SandyLake Road, for a total estimated project cost of $94,059.00, and authorizing theCounty Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement for this Type "B" road work.

To approve order authorizing Commissioner of District No.2 to cooperate withthe City of Garland in improvements to Brand Road, from Richardson City Limitsto S.H. 190, for a total estimated project cost of $225,517.02, and authorizingthe County Judge to execute the Interlocal Agreement for this Type "B" roadwork.

To approve order authorizing the County Judge to execute Contract Amendment06, in an increased amount of $59,962, with Carter & Burgess, Inc. forprofessional engineering services for Congestion Mitigation/Air Ouality (CMAO)Intersection Improvement Program Project No. 12.

To approve order consenting to the sale of tax foreclosure property located at117 Josephine Lane in Grand Prairie to Sage Inv. in the amount of $7,500.00,even if the bid tendered is less than the market value of the land specified in thejudgment of foreclosure or the total amount of the judgments against theproperty, and authorizing the Irving I.S.D., as Trustee, to act on behalf of theCounty of Dallas, the Dallas County Community College District, the ParklandHospital District and the Dallas County School Equalization Fund in the sale andexecution of a quitclaim deed for the property conveying for the purchaser theright, title and interest acquired or held by the County as a party to the taxjudgment.

39. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing the City of Dallas, as Trustee, to sell designated taxforeclosure properties and consenting to the sale of said properties to qualifiednon-profit organizations which engage in the building, repair, rental and sale ofhousing for low income individuals and families, even if the amount tendered isless than the market values of the properties specified or the total amount of thejudgment against each property.
