To approve order authorizing State Farm Insurance to be paid $1,149.95 assupplemental reimbursement for property damage by the County of Dallas, Texas,in connection with an accident with a County vehicle on or about May 8, 2000.

To approve order approving the annual budget of the Dallas County HospitalDistrict for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2000 and ending September 30,2001, as submitted by the Board of Managers of the Dallas County HospitalDistrict.

13. COURT ORDER:

To approve order setting fees to be charged for certain services performed by theOffices of Sheriff and Constables, effective January 1, 2001, and directing theDistrict and County Clerks, Justice Courts, Sheriff and Constables to ensure thattheir fee schedules and deposit requirements incorporate said fees prescribed byCommissioners Court.

To approve order appointing Lois Cannaday as a member of the Dallas CountyHistorical Commission to serve a term expiring January 31, 2001.

To approve order authorizing payment of $7,500 to the Texas Counties StormWater Coalition in support of its efforts on behalf of Texas Counties to opposecertain provisions in the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA's) proposed rulefor the regulation of storm water runoff.

18. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving the efficiency measures proposed by Dallas CountySheriff Jim Bowles, as identified on the Attachment entitled, Sheriff's FY-2001Efficiency Measures, Items A-KK, thereby authorizing a 5 % salary structureincrease, effective October 1, 2000, for all employees compensated under thelaw enforcement salary schedule, and outlining certain provisions in the eventthat any efficiency measures named fail to generate the necessary savings and/orrevenue.

19. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving the Personnel/Civil Service Department's request toextend the contract with Hay Consulting Group to provide services as outlined fora cost not to exceed $38,000 for the period beginning February 1, 2000.

20. COURT ORDER:

To approve order authorizing the purchase of TeachView equipment at a totalcost of $2,311 to be used in the District Clerk's Office as a mechanism toprovide new and ongoing PC and mainframe training to District Clerk employees.

21. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving refunds to taxpayers, as listed, in amounts over$500.00 for erroneous or excessive tax payments.

To approve order rescinding Court Order No. 2000-1623, dated August 14,2000, and adopting and complying with the combined laws and rules for "foodservice establishments" authorized by the Texas Board of Health.
