Subject: Appointment of candidates to the Junior Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, J&K Police (Gazetted) Service and J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service under direct recruitment quota through the Combined Competitive Examination, 2018.

Reference: Letter No. PSC/Ex-161KAS dated 23.11.2020 from the J&K Public Service Commission.

Government Order No:llOO-JK(GAD) of 2020, Dated:09-12-2020.

Pursuant to the selection made on the basis of the Combined Competitive Examination-2018 and as recommended by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, sanction is hereby accorded to the temporary appointment of the candidates as per Annexure-I to this order, against the posts in the Junior Scale of the

Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, J&K Police (Gazetted)

Service and J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service in the pay band of Rs. 9300-34,800 with grade pay of Rs.4800 (now revised to Level 8 Rs. 47600-151100) with immediate effect.

The appointees shall be on probation for a period of two years during which they shall undergo such training and pass the Departmental Examination as prescribed under rules.

The candidates allotted to Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, J&K Police (G) Service and J&K Accounts (G)

Service shall report to the Director General, J&K Institute of

Management, Public Administration and Rural Development

(IMPA&RD) for undergoing foundation course as per the Training

Policy notified vide Government Order No. 916-GAD of 2019 dated

9.8.2019.

The candidates allotted to J&K Police (G) Service and J&K

Accounts (G) Service, after completion of the foundation course at

J&K IMPA&RD shall report to the Director General of Police, J&K and

Director General, Accounts and Treasuries, J&K respectively for

undergoing the prescribed training whileas the candidates allotted to

Junior KAS shall continue to undergo the prescribed training at

J&K IMPA&RD.

The appointees shall be allowed to join only on

production of the following certificates in original:-

(i) Qualification Certificate (ii) Date of Birth Certificate (iii) Domicile Certificate (iv) Relevant Category Certificate

(v) Any other certificate required under rules.

The candidates who fail to join within a period of 21

(twenty one) days from the date of issuance of the appointment order

shall forego their right to appointment which shall be deemed to have

been cancelled abinitio without any further notice.

The salary of the appointees shall be drawn and

disbursed to them after the receipt of the character and antecedents

verification report from Additional Director General of Police, CID and

subject to production of an affidavit (as per Annexure-11) to this

order. I n case, any candidate is adversely reported upon by the

verifying agency viz. CID or the relevant category certificate is found

not to be genuinelvalid, helshe shall have no claim to hold the post to

which appointed and hislher appointment shall automatically stand

It is further ordered that the names in the appointment

order shall not be construed in order of their seniority which shall be

determined by their respective cadre controlling departments in terms

of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and

Appeal) Rules, 1956.

The appointment/allocation of the candidates to the

respective services shall be subject to the outcome of the writ

petition(s), if any, pending adjudication before any Competent Court

of law.
