Forecasting and planning play an important role in forming and implementing the policies, guidelines of the Party and the State; setting up development strategy and plan; advising the management at the national level and ministerial level; providing directional information for production and trading activities..

With a team of experienced experts in forecasting and planning of building material development, and the close coordination and enthusiastic participation of experts from the Center to localities, VIBM has completed many building material forecasting and planning researches, and basic investigations such as: Master Development plan of Vietnam building

material industry; Development plans of building materials such as

cement, building ceramics, lime used for building material production; Building material plan for 8 economic zones

and 3 main point economic areas in the whole country;
