Letters Of Recommendation 2301 N BRAZOSPORT BLVD B84 FREEPORT, TX 77541 TEL: 979-871-3185, FAX: 979-871-3219 16 January 2014 Excel Companies Baton Rouge, LA To: Excel Management As you are aware Samsung Engineering is responsible for the engineering and construction management of a large chlorine plant located within Dow Chemical in Freeport, Texas. Samsung Engineering contracted Excel to install the electrical and instrumentation throughout the plant. Excel successfully managed hundreds of employees who provided electrical and instrumentation for the plant and substantially contributed to the project achieving a stretch of over three million man hours without a serious incident. Mr. Toby Burgett and Marty Hayden were directly responsible for the outstanding results of a well run safety program for Excel here at Project Falcon in Dow Chemical for Samsung Engineering. Mr. Toby Burgett’s and Marty Hayden’s consistent hard work, due diligence, proactive initiatives and accountability was instrumental in the overall project achieving a 0.20 TRIR. Their people skills, lengthy safety experience and managerial abilities to achieve peak safety performance through a well-disciplined company process are certainly impressive. I thank you both for your accomplishments attained here at Project Falcon, and I hope we work together on another project in the near future. “Leaving No Regrets on the Field”
