CHARGES FOR SERVICES SELECTED

1. Professional Services

Basic Services of Funeral Director, Staff and Overhead ____________ $1,595.00

This fee for basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for church or chapel funeral packages and immediate burial.) This is a basic fee that we charge every family for our professional expertise in assisting them with their preferences. Our charge includes, but is not limited to:

• A proportionate share of taxes, licenses, utilities and business expenses required to serve the public.

• Personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to respond to the initial call for service.

• Consultation with the family, to discuss with you and for implementation of desired arrangements, consultation with the clergy, cemetery, crematory or common carrier, planning the funeral or memorial service, placement of obituary notices, and direction and supervision of the services as determined by the family.

• Administrative and clerical services, preparation of the death certificate for certification by the attending local physician or local coroner, preparation of necessary local permits, filing of the death certificate with the appropriate local government agencies.

Embalming ____________________________________ $575.00 Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing.
