More than 35 years of dewatering experience makes Multiflo® pumps the best choice for dewatering applications.

Multiflo® pump units were first produced in 1976, designed and manufactured to provide purpose built solutions to reliably and efficiently manage mine de-watering.

The diesel driven, vacuum primed Multiflo® CF range of pump units are built for general pumping applications.

The Multiflo® CF pump units have been designed and built to reduce costs and manufacturing lead times while maintaining a high quality standard, typical of the Multiflo® product.

The Multiflo® CF range is the Weir Minerals Multiflo cost effective pumping solution. Our automatic vacuum priming design simplifies the operation providing effective pump priming, each time - every time!

Multiflo® CF pump standard features:

• CAT control box for simple operation

• Caterpillar® diesel engine for proven performance and reliability as standard

• Internal baffling supporting deck mounts to provide strength and durability

• Two-Pack epoxy paint to handle the hardest conditions

• Close coupled pump assembly to reduce size and weight increasing portability

• Automatic vacuum prime to provide trouble free pump operation by the “automatic leveling float system”.

Priming a pump unit can be the most frustrating process for an operator. The mechanical priming system automatically takes control of priming the pump.

Priming system

When the Multiflo® CF pump unit is started, the priming system will quickly and efficiently lift the water up into the priming tank and the pump will then be primed.

The level of the water in the priming tank is controlled by a “Ball Float” system, ensuring the system remains primed at all times.

Multiflo® CF priming system features:

• Highly reliable priming

• Easy to maintain with no scaling, wear, or plugging as seen in a venturi priming system which can degrade or fail to prime

• Highly efficient vacuum priming vs inefficient air priming

• Maximum suction lift

• Stainless steel construction

• No adjustment required, ensuring a longer service-free life by replacing the high maintenance mechanical parts used in older style priming systems

• No priming exhaust emissions with the vacuum prime system as no compressor is required to prime the pump unit.

First class construction

The Multiflo® CF pump range uses a close coupled drive design. This arrangement allows for a shorter, lighter pump unit and minimises shaft alignment issues that are often encountered with other drive arrangements.

Coupling the pump to the engine is now a simple process.

No short cuts on construction. The ‘CF’ range of auto vacuum primed, diesel driven pump units have been designed and built to simplify both the operation and maintenance of the unit.
