APRIL, 2015
Dear Parents/Guardians, Welcome back! This past month all of our students were involved in Edu-Fair. It was a huge success with a wide variety of interesting projects. Some of our students will be taking their projects to the Divisional Science Fair and Heritage Fair. Basketball season has also ended and all of our teams did very well. Congratulations to all players and coaches! All of our students have received an application for the next school year. We are very impressed that so many students have already handed in their applications. As applications come in the optional classes fill up, so it is important to return applications as soon as possible. We would like to thank all of our parents/guardians for coming to our Student-Led-Tri Conferences. Con-ferences are an important part of sharing student learning, but ongoing communication with parents is also very important. If you have any concerns or questions about your child please do not hesitate to contact the school. This last term of school is a very busy one, with many activities both in and out of school. During this time, it is important that students remain focused on their first priority, school and their education. They may need our assistance in time management so that they can be successful in their studies. An agenda or or-ganizer can be a useful tool for keeping track of assignments, test dates, as well as other activities. Listing important events on a calendar at home is also a great way to keep track of upcoming events. Our parent council is once again raising funds through the Show and Save Books. These books have wonderful coupons for many vendors in our community. You child will have an order form if you wish to order. We are encouraging students to take orders from friends and family and not go door to door.
The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.
Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education Martin Luther King, Jr., 1929-1968
Wazazi / Walezi,
Karibu tena!
kurudi maombi haraka iwezekanavyo.
maswali kuhusu mtoto wako tafadhali usisite kuwasiliana shule.

Abril 2015 Mga Magulang/Tagapag alaga, Maligayang pagbabalik!
Martin Luther King, Jr. 1929-1968

General Chaos is at it again… the members of Chaos know the importance of giving back to one’s community and helping those in need. 10 members attended a promotional event at Boston Pizza Kenaston to aid in the raising of funds for the annual Move’N Groove A-Thon. Our team got their first glimpse into what serving is like as they helped the servers at BP!
