I am interested in Political Science because I believe that politics is one of the ways to make a difference in the world. Those who major in Political Science could migrate into fields such as law, campaigning, and government work. Through these jobs, one can influence, create, and argue policy that affects the lives of people. I see a lot of unfair treatment in our country, especially towards minorities. These wrongs need to be corrected, and it is up to the current youth to take responsibility and create changes, because in a few years, we will be in charge of running this nation. It will be up to the best and the brightest of Generation Z to ensure that America stays great. I feel that I am one of those who can help keep America on top. However, I cannot hope to do this without a Political Science degree as a foundation. This scholarship would help me pay to receive this degree.
