DOES THE WEATHER EFFECT HORSES IN WARMER SEASONS?

oIn the warmer seasons, horses are more sleepy. They will want more water and to seek shade in their stalls. Also when they are ridden, they get very hot and tired. It would be better to ride them in the morning or in the evening when its cooler.

DOES THE WEATHER EFFECT HORSES IN COLDER SEASONS?Horses can handle cold temperatures because they

have a thick body layer. Weather conditions like rain, snow, or wind are worse to horses than cold temperatures. To know if your horse is cold, check to see if their hair is sticking up. If it is, that means it’s cold. If it isn’t, then it is warm. To make sure your horse is extra warm, have blankets for them in their stalls.
