HR POLICIES

Genpact has a clearly laid out and well defined structure of HR policies covering each and every aspect of the employee life cycle. The policies are regularly reviewed and updated to be in line with changing job environments and economic scenarios.

RELOCATION POLICY FOR NEW HIRESBand 4 New Hires

• Mode of travel as per T&L policy

• Accommodation can be company provided for maximum of 15 days or own stay arrangements. Accordingly, the per diem will vary. Spouse and children are covered

• Movement of household goods reimbursed on actuals up to a maximum specified limit

• Movement of 1 vehicle reimbursed on actuals up to a maximum specified limit

• Vehicle Registration and Road Tax reimbursed on actuals for up to 1 vehicle

Band 5 New Hires

• Mode of travel should be own arrangement reimbursable up to a specified limit

• Accommodation can be company provided for maximum of 15 days up to a maximum specified limit. This amount will be recovered from employees

• Dependent coverage, per diem, movement of household goods and vehicles is not applicable

Maximum permissible limits for each of the above will be shared by respective recruiter

Medical Insurance Policy

• Medical insurance coverage provided through Group Medical Insurance Policy

• For Band 5 employees, only self coverage allowed

• For Band 4+ employees self coverage and up to 3 dependents (spouse and 2 children) allowed

Leave Policy

• Annual/Earned Leave: All full time employees are entitled to 25 days of paid leave acrcrued month on month. For employees joining/leaving company during calendar year, leaves get prorated as per date of joining/leaving the company

• Maternity Leave: All women employees are allowed maternity leave for 12 weeks for childbirth or adoption. This leave can’t be accumulated, encashed or carried forward

• Paternity Leave: All conditions same as maternity leave except that it is for male employees and duration is 5 working days or 84 calendar days for single male parent

• For Band 4+ employees self coverage and up to 3 dependents (Spouse and 2 children) allowed

Transport Policy

• All employees up to Band 4D are allowed to avail company transport

• Company transport provided only for the time period between 8:00 P.M. to 8:00 AM. Next morning. No company transport during the day (8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.)

• This is a chargeable service and applicable deductions will be made from employees’ monthly salary

Flexible Work Arrangement Policy

• Work from Home: Employees work from home most part of week and comes to office 4-5 times a month. No impact on C&B with this arrangement

• Tele-Work: Employees perform full time work responsibilities up to several days a week at sites other than their primary location. No impact on C&B with this arrangement

• Flextime: Full-time employees vary the start and end times of their work days, whether on-site or off-site, covering core hours (when everyone is expected to be working) as determined by individual businesses

• All the above arrangements are subject to approval from relevant process owners

INTEGRITY IS NON-NEGOTIABLE AT GENPACT• We expect all our employees to adhere to the Genpact Code of

Conduct

• Breach of integrity leads to disciplinary action, and can even lead to termination of services

• Some examples of breach of integrity and indiscipline are:• Unscheduled leave• Uninformed medical leave• Insubordination • Late reporting • Consistent low performance/casual attitude/spending too much

time on personal work when at work• Non reporting of known violations of integrity• Non adherence to company policies• Discrimination on grounds of gender, race or community• Violation of Genpact Code of Conduct• Not respecting customer/company confidentiality• Not adhering to safe work environment• Theft of company data, property, employees’ belongings• Coming to work under influence of alcohol or drugs
