NOTORIOUS B.I.GBiggie smalls would never down his pride but always pursue to success. His lyrics would state the trials and tribulations leading to success about a true Hip Hop hustler.

EMINEM (MARSHALL MATHERSThis slim shady master lyricist would hold nothing back and would destroy who opposes him. His lyrics come from the heart and personal experience in which he progresses as his songs change.

JAY-ZJay-z has created a empire in music and Hip Hop as he is the co founder of ‘Roc A Fella’. He has worked with many artists making them successful by releasing numerous platinum selling artists.

SNOOP DOGGSnoop Dogg was introduces into the Hip Hop industry through the greatest Hip Hop producer of all time ‘Dr Dre’. He is considered the most recognisable Hip Hop artist in the world.

DEMOGRAPHICSI would say the audience for ‘Rap/ Hip Hop’ would be mainly aimed at males from the ages of 16-21 years old. The audience are very common with Rap and Hip Hop artists such as: Jay-z, Snoop Dogg etc. This kind of audience is mostly likely to be predominately males rather than females.

Some people would consider ‘Hip Hop’ as being a bad influence towards us because of the use of language within the lyrics said, image of a CD or a mix tape like is to too explicit for young people.

Hip Hop was found by the African Americans which there voices was listened throughout the 1990’s. They would usually base the lyrics around problems which occurred such as: police being brutal towards citizens, selling of cocaine and gun crime which is a often concept to do with Hip Hop lyrics.

Hip Hop focused strongly around the lyrics of the artists. For example ‘Tupac Shakur’ a rap and hip hop legend who influenced many people around the world, basing his lyrics on mostly black people as black people were treated unfairly amongst other cultures.

RAWKUS RECORDSThe ‘Rawkus Record’ label was found by Brian Brater which was a American Hip Hop record label only. It launched in 1996 which released such genres from hip hop to drum and then to bass.

DEF JAM RECORDINGSThe ‘Def Jam Recordings’ was found by Rick Rubin and Russell Simmons. It was an American record label focusing on Hip Hop and Urban music. However it is then progressed to the UK and Japan calling itself ‘Def Jam UK’ and ‘Def Jam Japan’.

PREDICTIONSThe future predictions for rap and hip hop music is increasing as time flies by. With new artists bursting through pursuing to become the best rap artist they are up against popular lyrical rap artists such as: Eminem, J Cole, Drake and Childish Gambino.

Rap and Hip Hop music is growing gradually as many people want their voices and lyrics to be heard by rapping it out and making videos. The youth are increasing by having good potential lyrics as well as knowing what to say and how.

I think the future predictions for the rap and hip hop music genre is going to flourish the world from out breaks of new lyrical artists every year.
