Point
A Point names a spot and has no size.
Line
A Line is a straight path that has no thickness and extends forever.
Plane
A Plane in a flat surface that extends forever and has no thickness.
Angle
An Angle is a figure formed by 2 rays with a common endpoint.
Perpendicular lines
Perpendicular lines are lines that intersect at 90 degree angles.
Parallel lines
Lines that lie on the same plane that don’t intersect.
Triangle
A Triangle is a 3 sided polygon.
Right Triangle
A Right Triangle is a triangle that has one right angle in it.
Pentagon

Rectangle
A Rectangle is a quadrilateral with 4 right angles.
Trapezoid
A Trapezoid is a quadrilateral with one pair of parallel sides.
Parallelogram
A Parallelogram is a quadrilateral with 2 pairs of parallel sides.
Circle
A Circle is round with a center point.
Cylinder
A Cylinder is a 3-dimensional figure with 2 parallel congruent circular bases and a curved lateral surface that connects the bases.
Sphere
A Sphere is like a circular object like a bouncy ball or like the world.
Quadrilateral
A Quadrilateral is a four sided polygon.
Cone
A Cone is a 3 dimensional figure with a circular base and a curved lateral surface that connects the base to a point called the vertex.
Cube
A Cube is a six sided prism and the sides are squares.
