A Message from Evan Yionoulis:

Welcome to the Juilliard Drama Division’s first production of the season: George Bernard Shaw’s Major Barbara, a play as provocative and resonant today as it was in 1905, when it was written. Alum Janet Zarish directs.

We are excited to share with you the work of our fourth-year actors as they, in their final year at Juilliard, call on all aspects of their training, their passion and conviction, to bring to life an exciting and diverse roster of plays, working under the direction of distinguished faculty and exciting professional directors, and in worlds created by extraordinary teams of designers.

We hope that you will join us for the rest of our season, featuring Tanya Barfield’s Bright Half Life, directed by Rebecca Guy; Dominique Morisseau’s Paradise Blue, directed by Brandon Dirden; Lynn Nottage’s Crumbs From the Table of Joy, directed by Melissa Maxwell; Annie Baker’s The Flick, directed by Zi Alikhan; and Black Snow, Keith Reddin’s dramatization of the novel by Mikhail Bulgakov, directed by Dustin Wills.
