• GĒOS Recycled Glass Surfaces has no free substances that present a health risk.
• Upon comple8on of the produc8on process, the substances are included and immobilized in the
polyester, forming part of the GĒOS structure. GĒOS is not classified as a dangerous substance and
nor does it cons8tute a health risk.
• GĒOS does not present any type of hazard for human health and the environment
• The powder generated in the manufacturing processes contains silica (SiO2).
S
Prolonged and/or massive inhala8on of crystalline silica can cause pulmonary fibrosis and
pneumoconiosis and silicosis, as well as a worsening of other pulmonary diseases (bronchi8s,
emphysema, etc.). The main symptom of silicosis is the loss of pulmonary capacity. People with
silicosis have a greater risk of ge?ng lung cancer. Exposure to the powder should be monitored and
controlled with suitable measures of protec8on such as the installa8on of ven8la8on systems, dust/
powder pick-up systems, vacuum cleaning systems, wet fabrica8on processes and the use of N95
NIOSH cer8fied Respirators. EOS Surfaces LLC recommends that GĒOS Recycled Glass Surfaces be
fabricated and installed using only wet manufacturing processes.

No immediate medical assistance is required. In the event of unwanted contact with the powder or
with any residue produced during the fabrica8on process, the following recommenda8ons should be
observed.
• Contact with the eyes: Keep the eyelids open and wash thoroughly with plenty of water.
• Contact with the skin: Wash with soap and water.
• Contact by inhala9on: Take the affected person to a well-ven8lated place. Apply assisted ven8la8on
if the injured person has a serious reac8on. Ven8late the work area properly.
• Contact by swallowing: See a doctor.
F F: :
• Ex9nguishing: Water, Dry Chemical, CO2, Foam.
• Special fire figh9ng procedures: Keep personnel upwind of fire and use self-contained breathing
apparatus and protec8ve gear.
• Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Can be combusted only with difficulty. Decomposi8on products
resul8ng from the polymer and elevated temperatures include various hydrocarbons, carbon
dioxide, carbon monoxide, and water. Fumes of metal oxides and mica par8cles could also be
released.

The following measures are recommended to reduce the possibility of accidental exposure:
• Personal precau9ons: Safety footwear, gloves, eye and respiratory protec8on are recommended for
cleaning and the removal of waste.
• Precau9ons for the protec9on of the environment: The use of water-cooled tools is specifically
recommended, and any dry cu?ng, grinding, manufacturing or any other treatment of GĒOS should
be carried out in a well-ven8lated place. This will prevent the forma8on of dusty or powdery
environments.
• Method of disposal: Dispose of according to local state and federal regula8ons.
H:
The use of protec8ve gloves and safety footwear is recommended.
S :
No specific condi8ons are required for safe storage, only that the premises are properly closed and
covered. Avoid strong impacts that might lead to breakage.
EB
No specific precau8ons need to be taken in regards to exposure to GĒOS Sustain-able Surface sheets
as shipped. Special exposure precau8ons should be considered during the fabrica8on of GĒOS
Recycled Glass Surface: Refer to OSHA PEL limits for Silica dust exposure regula8ons.
• Ven9la9on systems and work equipment: The use of forced ven8la8on systems, wet-system
machinery and work tools.
• Cleaning and maintenance: Use of cleaning systems by aspira8on, avoiding sweeping or the use of
compressed air, which may generate a powdery or dusty environment. Preven8ve maintenance
programs for the installa8ons, to correct possible powder/dust leaks into the working environment.
• Respiratory protec9on: The use of N95 NIOSH cer8fied respirators
• Hand protec9on: The use of protec8ve gloves is not necessary, although their use is recommended
to avoid cu?ng caused by parts during handling. Wash your hands with soap and water to eliminate
powder from fabrica8on.
• Eye protec9on: The use of ANSI compliant safety goggles is recommended.
• Skin protec9on: The use of skin protec8on is not necessary.
