With its other name, hair transportation, is a

process of transporting the healthy and strong

hair roots from the donor area, which is

usually in the back of the head, to the area

which is thinned down or completely opened.

Extreme natural appearances can be achieved

by hair transplantation with the aid of modern

Hair thickness is another matter, which should

be paid attention to, in hair transplantation. For

instance; hair thickness totally depends on the

surgeon and medical team who attends to hair

transplantation and having a thick hair is not

the important matter. This is a situation which

is based on the person and the aesthetic

appearance.

Hair loss can be directly caused by microbe

diseases from the hair but also from

avitaminoses, hunger, diabetics, acute,

hormonal disorder and other idiosyncratic

ailments. The main hair diseases are baldness,

alopecia, dandruff and skin-head.

Hair and bristles of people, who don’t have

congenital pigments in their body (albino), are

completely white.

The treatment that applied directly to the

•Do not use ASPIRIN or other anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprofen, ecopirin, alka seltzer etc.) two weeks before the operation.

•Do not use ALCOHOL three days before the operation.

•Do not apply any local medicine around your scalp or hair before the operation.

•Wash your hair before you’re coming in for the operation and do not use any hair gel or spray after washing it.

•Have a breakfast certainly before coming in for the operation. If your operation is afternoon, you should have a light lunch.

•You must certainly bring a hat with you which can be loosen and fastened from its back part, to wear after the operation.

•Do not smoke for 24 hours after the operation if possible. If you can't manage, try to reduce number of smokes. Don't forget that

smoking will extend the healing period and increase the risk of infection and scar.

•Try not to drink coffee and other caffein containing drinks on the day of the operation. Those kind of drinks will increase the chance

of bleeding during the operation and your sensibility to used drugs.

•Do not use any multivitamin preparates containing B and E vitamins one week before the operation, since they will increase your

bleeding.

•Do not have the hair in the back of your head cut, because that hair will be used to cover the stitching area.

•If you’re coming in for the operation with a car, make sure you have someone to drive you back since you will not be able to drive

for 12 hours after the operation.

•Bring a cloth(shirt, sweater, etc) which will not chafe your head while you are wearing it and you will easily wear.

How you feel after the operation depends on the type

and range of the approach taken. Any forms of pain

and discomfort can be taken under control by

painkillers.

If bandage is applied, it will usually removed the day

after. You will start washing your hair 2-3 days after

the operation and you will continue to wash as

instructed until your stitches are removed. Stitches

are usually removed after 15th day of the operation.

Hard activities could cause bleeding at grafts and

operation area, cause the increase blood pressure in

the scalp. Because of this, you should avoid all hard

activities and sports for at least three weeks. And

sometimes doctors suggests not to have intercourse

for 10 days after the operation.

A diminutive incrustation is being formed on

the transplantation area after the operation, and

this will fall in one week period (Advanced

FUE techniques don’t cause incrustation as

dense as FUT technique). After the operation

and diminutive incrustation has fallen of, living

hair roots will make a small growth and there

will be no scar or rash even in early periods,

since thick canal opener generated cuts in FUT

technique are not used. This way, even in the

early periods, even they show signs of short

growth, the view formed by the current roots

makes the patient confident and happy. But the

real and permanent growth only begins after the

4th month. The growth in the early periods as

thin strands turns into the desired view by

months.

Strand Thickness: Is your strand thin or thick? For

thinner hair a higher density is required.

Hair Color: Yellow and other light colored hairs and

the color difference between hair and skin is not

much a less density is required.

Type of your Hair: Wavy and curly hairs covers the

density is required.

Transplantation areas: Forehead line and forehead

area require more density in hair transplantation as a

rule.

Average hair density for hair not lost is 60-100

follicles per centimeter squares. A good hair density

is could be determined as 30-50 follicles per

centimeter squares according to the facts above.
