Get inspired by travel A big aspect of Corkscrew is travel. Everyone loves travel. And during this program, biggest thing that we

want you to walk away with is the confidence to try something that you really want to do.

3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an

exploding volcano, 2 cameras and

almost a terabyte of footage = a

trip of a lifetime..

It’s an important question. Inspirations drive you forward and keep you on track. They say inspiration wears off, but so do showers. That’s why they’re recommended daily!

Travel can be an eye opening experience.

Places We’re big on quotes, here’s a favourite: “I hate studying, but I love learning”

Quotes For many people, people are at the heart of everything they do.

People

New robots, advances in healthcare and the latest entertainment systems.

Inventions One of the best answers we’ve heard. Courage and bravery are simply inspiring.

Courage What do you do in your spare time? Hobbies and interests can be a big source.

Get inspired by Start-ups There’s a lot of really inspiring businesses popping up everywhere, some are even run by quite young

people. It’s amazing what people can achieve at a young age.

Think about what you’re good at. Your business idea will usually come from what you already know about!

Think about your skills and hobbies 1

What do you care about? Are there any issues that feel strongly about? Are you involved in any volunteer work?

What are you passionate about? 2

Keep looking at the world around you and think about any problems you could solve or things that you like.

Actively think about opportunities 3

You will be developing Your own Business idea Over the following four weeks you will be developing your own business idea with us. Don’t panic! You will be working closely with Neil and Tom throughout the program. They can help you find an idea you’d like to develop – as well as your fellow participants!

Keep a record of any inspirations you have as you go through the program - it will help in our 1to1 sessions.

Things to takeaway

You’ll be working with Neil and Tom to uncover what you truly care about and turn it into an opportunity.

Your business idea is about what you’re interested in 1 Look for inspiration related to what you’re interested

in and keep up to date with what’s going on.

Look for inspiration often 2

Keep track of what you’re looking at and what you’re thinking about in one place.

Keep track of your inspiration 3 Use what you like and ditch what you don’t. Mix and

match from other places. If you like it, copy it!
