    WATCH AND PRAY

    Acts 20

7On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Paul spoke to the people and, because

he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight.8

There were many lamps in the

upstairs room where we were meeting.9

Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who

was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground

from the third story and was picked up dead.

Whilst others were listening to the life saving Word of God someone was sleeping on the window, sitting

on the fence, between the light and the darkness outside, wedged right in the middle, sitting in the back

seat, taking everything easy and falling asleep.

    Matthew 24

42Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was

coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.44

So youalso must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

    .48

But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, My master is staying away a longtime,

49and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.

    50The

master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not

    aware of.51

He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there

will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

    Matthew 25

13Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

    Mark 13

5 Jesus said to them: Watch outthat no one deceives you

9You must be on your guard

23So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.

35Therefore keepwatch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come

backwhether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn.36

    If he

comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping.37

What I say to you, I say to everyone:

    Watch!

    1 Thessalonians 5

5 Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you,2

    for you know

very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

4But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a

    thief.

6SO THEN, LET US NOT BE LIKE OTHERS, WHO ARE ASLEEP, BUT LET US BE

    AWAKE AND SOBER.

    7

For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, getdrunk at night.8

But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as

a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

    Matthew 26

    WATCH AND PRAY

36Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, Sit here

while I go over there and pray.37

He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him,

and he began to be sorrowful and troubled.38

Then he said to them, My soul is overwhelmedwith sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.

    39Going a little farther,

he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be takenfrom me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.

40Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. Couldnt you men keep

watch with me for one hour?he asked Peter.41

Watch and pray so that you will not fall

into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

42He went away a second time and prayed, My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be

taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.

43When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy.

    44So he left

them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.45

Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, Are you still sleeping and resting? Look,

the hour has come, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.46

    Rise! Let us

    go! Here comes my betrayer!

The Son of man was taken away whilst they were still asleep, they could not (did not|) watch

    and pray.

When you fall asleep that is the time the betrayer comes and takes away your Jesus. Instead ofyou to be up and praying so that .so that you will not fall into temptation.. If the

disciples were alive and active, watching and praying, keeping watch being. The Messiah

may not have been taken away. The enemy would not have swooped down on them, he would

    4/36

not have taken them by surprise and caught them unawares and unprepared. Nut the enemy

caught the napping, he found them sound asleep and took away their Jesus.

    Matthew 24

    Keep watch

36But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,

    [f]but

    only the Father.37

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in

marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;39

and they knew nothing about what would happenuntil the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of

    Man.40

Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.41

    Two women will be

grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

42Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was

coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.44

    So you

also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

45Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants

in his household to give them their food at the proper time?46

It will be good for that servant

whose master finds him doing so when he returns.47

Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge ofall his possessions.

48But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, My master is

    staying away a long time,49

and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink

    with drunkards.50

The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect himand at an hour he is not aware of.

51He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the

hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

25 At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went

    out to meet the bridegroom.2

Five of them were foolish and five were wise.3

    The foolish ones

took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.4

The wise ones, however, took oil in jarsalong with their lamps.

5The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy

    and fell asleep.

6At midnight the cry rang out: Heres the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!

7Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.

8The foolish ones said to the wise,

Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.

9No, they replied, there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell

oil and buy some for yourselves.

10But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who

were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

11Later the others also came. Lord, Lord, they said, open the door for us!

12But he replied, Truly I tell you, I dont know you.

13Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

    Mark 13

The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times

13 As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, Look, Teacher! What

    massive stones! What magnificent buildings!

2Do you see all these great buildings?replied Jesus. Not one stone here willbe left on

another; every one will be thrown down.

3As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and

    Andrew asked him privately,4

Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be thesign that they are all about to be fulfilled?

5Jesus said to them: Watch outthat no one deceives you.

6Many will come in my name,

claiming, I am he, and will deceive many.7

When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not

be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.8Nation will rise against

  • 7/31/2019 Get Off the Window

    6/36

nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines.

These are the beginning of birth pains.

9You must be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the

synagogues. On account of me you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them.10

And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.

    11

Whenever you are arrested and broughtto trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time,

for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

12Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their

parents and have them put to death.13

Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who

stands firm to the end will be saved.

14When you see the abomination that causes desolation standing where it does not belong

let the reader understandthen let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.15

Let no one onthe housetop go down or enter the house to take anything out.

16Let no one in the field go back

    to get their cloak.

    17

How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursingmothers!18

Pray that this will not take place in winter,19

because those will be days of distress

unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until nowand never to be equaledagain.

20If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect,

whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.21

At that time if anyone says to you, Look, here is

the Messiah! or, Look, there he is! do not believe it.22

For false messiahs and false prophets

will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.23

    So be on

your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time.

    24

But in those days, following that distress,

    the sun will be darkened,and the moon will not give its light;

25the stars will fall from the sky,

and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

26At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

27And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth

to the ends of the heavens.

    28

Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves comeout, you know that summer is near.29

Even so, when you see these things happening, you knowthat it is near, right at the door.

30Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away

until all these things have happened.31

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will

    never pass away.

32But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only

    the Father.33

Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. 34

    Its like a

man going away: He leaves his house and puts his servants in charge, each with their assignedtask, and tells the one at the door to keep watch.

    35

Therefore keepwatch because you do not know when the owner of the house will comebackwhether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn.36

    If he

comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping.37

What I say to you, I say to everyone:

    Watch!

    1 Thessalonians 5

    The Day of the Lord

5 Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you,2

    for you know

very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.3While people are

saying, Peace and safety, destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant

woman, and they will not escape.

4But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a

thief.5You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the

    night or to the darkness.6

SO THEN, LET US NOT BE LIKE OTHERS, WHO AREASLEEP, BUT LET US BE AWAKE AND SOBER.

7For those who sleep, sleep at night,

and those who get drunk, get drunk at night.8But since we belong to the day, let us be

sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. 9

ForGod did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.10

He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.11

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

3 Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to

    stimulate you to wholesome thinking.2

I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the

holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.

3Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following

    their own evil desires.

    4

They will say, Where is this coming he promised? Ever since ourancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.5

    But they

deliberately forget that long ago by Gods word the heavens came into being and the earth was

formed out of water and by water.6

By these waters also the world of that time was deluged anddestroyed.

7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for

the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and

    a thousand years are like a day.9

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some

understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone

    to come to repentance.

10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the

elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

11Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You

ought to live holy and godly lives12

as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the

    heat.13

But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth,

    where righteousness dwells.

14So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found

spotless, blameless and at peace with him.

    15

Bear in mind that our Lords patience meanssalvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.16

    He

writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some

things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do theother Scriptures, to their own destruction.

17Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may

not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position.18

    But

grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now

    and forever! Amen.

    Revelation 16

15Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go

    naked and be shamefully exposed.

    1 Peter 5:8

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone

    to devour.

    1 Corinthians 9

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to

get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crownthat will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.

26Therefore I do not run like someone

running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27No, I strike a blow to my body and make itmy slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

    Philippians 3

12Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, butI press

on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.13

    Brothers and sisters, I do

not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is

behind and straining toward what is ahead,14

I press on toward the goal to win the prize

for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

    1 Timothy 6

11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith,

love, endurance and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of the faith.Take hold of the

eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the

    presence of many witnesses.

    2 Timothy 4

7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

8Now there is in store for

me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and

not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

The man as sitting in a very precarious position between the light being supplied by the Lamp in the

room and the darkness of the outside. All he wanted was to be on the Inside but he did not take the

front seat, he just said for so long as I am Inside. Problem came when the enemy started stealing his

focus and attention and he began to relax even more and he began to doze off. The enemy stole his

souls slowly, he stole his attention, and then when he was dead or fast asleep he pulled him to the

outside. The wind from the enemy on the outside pulled him out, and threw him to the ground.

    John 10:10

10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to

    the full.

Inside the wind wasnt blowing, wind only blows on the outside. The walls surrounding the room kept

the wind on the outside, they were a wind barrier, they kept the wind from blowing on anyone in the

room. Those on the Inside were safe from the power and Influence of the wind and everything It ma

    11/36

cause Including the pain, discomfort from the cold. Outside IT WAS COLD LIKE AS It is in the middle East.

It gets very cold at night, but those Inside the room where warm, the walls and the lamp and other

brethren kept them warm. The man sitting on the window was being lashed on the back by the wind

whilst being warmed on the belly from the Inside. He was lukewarm, he was neither hot cold. On his

back there was a chill, on his belly on the Inside there was warmth.

    Revelation 3

    .15

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!16

    So,

because you are lukewarmneither hot nor coldI am about to spit you out of my mouth.

The man was juts sitting on the fence. He had no sides. One could not tell whether he was on the Inside

or on the outside. He was just sitting on the fence with his back to the dark but It was not enough. At

times the wind (representing evil spirits and demons) would lash him and he would wake up a but

then begin to fail asleep again. The wind would come from the outside and lash him with the cold air of

sickness, It would lash him with limitation in progress, It would lash him with set back, It would lash him

with death in the family, It would lash him, with curses, It would lash him with rejection, It would lash

him with confusion, It would lash him with sin (Inspiring him to sin against the Lord which would lead to

his punishment), It would lash him with sadness, depression, unhappiness, night mares, sleepless nights,

anxiety, opposition but all this failed to make him wake up and take defensive measures against the

wind such as moving to the Inside.

He didnt make an effort to get on the safer Inside even If the room was full.

    Luke 13

  • 7/31/2019 Get Off the Window

    12/36

    Enter through the Narrow Door

He said to them, 24 Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because

many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25 Once the owner of the

house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, Sir,

    open the door for us.

He didnt make a strong effort to enter into the safer places in the room away from the window where

he could fall off, he was living on the edge, his life was hanging by a thread, his life was hanging in the

balance, but he seemed Unperturbed, he was unmoved. He was sitting in his comfort zone. He did not

take action to reserve is life, he didnt not take precautionary measures. He could at least have stayed

awake and the only thing that could keep him awake alertwas the Word being preached but he fell

    asleep.

This is what happens when the Word is being preached, not all will be paying close attention, not all will

carry It out. Not all will keep watch and pray. As the preacher is saying.

    Matthew 13

Interpretation of the Parable of the Sower

18Listen then to what the parable of the sower means:

19When anyone hears the message about the

kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their

heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who

hears the word and at once receives it with joy.21

But since they have no root, they last only a short

time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.22

    The seed falling

among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the

deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.23

But the seed falling on good soil refers to

someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a

hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.

Whilst the preacher was shouting be alert and self controlled (1 PETER), he was dosing off, when the

preacher shouted the enemy cometh to steal to kill and destroy, he drowsed even more, when the Paul

shouted watch and pray he fell asleep completely, the darkness stole him and that was It............the

beginning of the end. The darkness stole him from the Inside (where there is Light), took him to the

outside (where there is darkness). For little while as he was falling he thought and felt like he was

flying just before he hit the ground with a thud,!! And probably broke his neck. He didnt know what

hit him, It all happened so quickly, he didnt have time to see what hit him, It was too late to save

or change anything and there he lay dead.

    Acts 20

9..........When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead.

The man fell asleep and the worst happened. His fate was sealed. He was beyond the point of return.

The enemy, the wind the forces of darkness, the devil had succeeded in completely destroying him.

That is how the enemy works. He comes into your life and then steals you peace and then runs away, If

you do not pursue catch beat him up thoroughly , bring him to the heavenly police, press charges

against him and have him their own into the prison for good, then he comes back again to steal because

he is still out there, waiting for another chance another opportunity to steal, waiting for you to fall

asleep. The enemy the thief doesnt sleep, he works at night when people sleep, that is when he comes

to steal. He waits for people to sleep and then comes to steal, to steal the love and obedience to God, to

steal their faith in God, to steal their hope, when they relax, when they get too comfortable and stop

    fighting and working.

When people sit in comfortable places, when people become too comfortable sleep catches up with

them, they begin to dose in not time all because of the comfort.

Even If and when you rest and sleep in the middle of the wilderness because you are tired.........right

there in the jungle, in the forests where there are hungry restless beast s roaming around where there

are wild animals prowling, where there are predators sniffing fro scent, It still does not mean that you

are safe or Truly in a Comfort zone. Even when you are feeling all warm and cosy in the arms ofDelilah, It does not mean that you are not in the danger zone. If the devils hands feel warm for a

moment It does not mean that they will always be that way, they are putting you to sleep, they are

    subduing you.

    Judges 16

19 After putting him to sleep on her lap, she called for someone to shave off the seven braids ofhis hair, AND SO BEGAN TO SUBDUE HIM. And his strength left him.

20Then she called, Samson, the Philistines are upon you!

He awoke from his sleepand thought, Ill go out as before and shake myself free. But he did

not know that the LORDhad left him.

21Then the Philistines seized him, gouged out his eyes and took him down to Gaza. Binding him

with bronze shackles, they set him to grinding grain in the prison.

Even If you rest and relax because you are feeling comfortable It does not mean that you are not in

danger, It does not mean that there is no threat in your life, It does not mean that your enemies have

stopped planning and plotting against you, It does not mean tat the enemy ahs given to sleep like you.

Samson got too comfortable in the arms of Delilah on the lap of Delilah on the lap of sin, he relaxed

too much until he went to sleep. He forgot that his enemies were always planning and plotting againsthim, he forgot that he was in the Philistine territory in enemy territory, he fell asleep and his hair was

cut in his sleep, he got too comfortable, no one can sleep when they are fully awake and working when

they are in a fight, when they are alert, when they are active but when people relax they begin to sleep.

    Judges 16

19After putting him to sleep on her lap, she called for someone to shave off the seven braids

If Samson had stayed awake and alert none of that would have happened to him. He was dosing all

the tie that he was with Delilah, sleep was catching up with.

Delilah was sonly able to subdue Samson because Samson had fallen asleep.

    Judges 16

19After putting him to sleep on her lap, she called for someone to shave off the seven braids of

his hair, AND SO BEGAN TO SUBDUE HIM. And his strength left him.

It was Delilah herself who put Samson to sleep. Samson got tired from sinning against the Lord, he

worked so hard sinning against the Lord hot tired and slept like a baby.sin causes people to fall asleep.

The devil puts people to sleep using sin, he tries to get them lost on world, lost in pleasure, lost in the

cares of this world, lost in the Philistines territory, lost Inside Delilah, lost Inside sin. Before they know

what is happening their hair, their power is shaved off. It all happens in their sleep, whilst they are still

    sleeping.

Watch and pray so that you will not fall

into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

45Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, Are you still sleeping and resting? Look,

the hour has come, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.

He would rise up in the middle of the might and leave but this time he was too tire to do any of that in

time or wasnt even given the opportunity. The enemy gets smart when you hang around him long

enough he discovers all your tactics. He knows and learns how you avoid trouble and then develops

counter measures to neutralise all your attempts to escape. You escaped him once but the next time heknows how to deal with you, he will be getting smart al the time you get close to him, every time you

He is going to be prepared for you this time, he is going to seal your avenue of escape, he will station his

demons to make sure you do not get through, he is going to surround you on all sides to make there is

no avenue of escape, he is learning, he is not going to make the same mistake he made the last time, he

is going to do his home work, he is going to study how he can prevent a similar occurrence from

happening, how he can keep the fish from slipping through his fingers, he is going to take precautionary

measures. Next time you visit your women (sin) in Philistine territory you wont be so lucky, you wont

get away scotch free like Samson.

You used to go back quickly to the Lord, you used to rise up like Samson and go back to Israelite territory

before the enemy could get you but now the enemy is gong to make sure that you do not get up. He is

going to make sure that Delilah stays up and shaves off your hair. You used to avoid trouble by trusting

    Proverbs 29

    Proverbs 1

23Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,

But since you refuse to listen when I call

and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand,25

since you disregard all my advice

and do not accept my rebuke,26

    I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you;

I will mock when calamity overtakes you27

when calamity overtakes you like a storm,

when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,

when distress and trouble overwhelm you.

    28Then they will call to me but I will not answer;

they will look for me but will not find me,29

since they hated knowledgeand did not choose to fear the LORD.

30 Since they would not accept my adviceand spurned my rebuke,

31they will eat the fruit of their ways

    Hebrews 10

26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for

7I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations

will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORDAlmighty.8

    The silver is mine

and the gold is mine, declares the LORDAlmighty.9

The glory of this present house will be

greater than the glory of the former house, says the LORDAlmighty. And in this place I willgrant peace, declares the LORDAlmighty.

Being a True believer In Christ is one of most adventurous lives,, there wars, there are persecutions and

troubles that have to be endured, there are distance that have to be covered, mountains that have to be

scaled, there are cities that have to be taken by storm, there is progress that has to be made. There are

goals to achieve, there are missions to accomplished, there is a work to be done and a great work.

The so called Christens today lack vision

    Proverbs 29:18

Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.

    Proverbs 29:18

When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.

They dont even know what the Lord wants and expects from them, they dont even now whet their

divine assignment in the Lord is, they dont eve know what their divine mission is, they dont even know

what they are supposed to be doing, that is why they do nothing but sit around and wait for Jesus to

come back or until they fall asleep until the enemy steals them and throws them to the ground like the

man who was sitting on the window when Paul was preaching they do not have sufficient knowledge of

the Truth, they think they know It all but they dont they are still babies, Infants they are still as blind

and as lost as the day the were born again, they only as much knowledge as they did when they heard

the Word for the first time. They are like severely emaciated children. We are in a war and they don; t

even know It. war is very eventful, the same dynamic Involved when nations fight each other are the

same ones Involved in spiritual war fare. It requires planning, execution, effort, setting goals,

determination, focus, you can feel yourself trying, you can feel yourself Involved. T is a fight. There is not

event on the face f the earth and Indeed the universe than that is more eventful and adventurous than

war. You cant tell what is going to happen next. You cant predict all the events, It is a roller coaster

ride. War is very eventful. It is action packed. No one can complain of boredom in war, every one is

always on the alert, always on their toes, planning the next move. Planning to take over the next city.

This is what war is not sitting around reading the bible and doing nothing after that. What are you going

to do with the weapons and power that the Lord ahs given you? are you going to take to the front lines

and fight an or sit in the fence, sit on the window until you fall asleep and due before Jesus comes back?

Are you going to be alive and active or are you going to continue being a lazy sluggard and fall asleep

and die. boredom kills, boredom causes people to stray into sin, to start looking for girl friends to start

looking for women eve Philistines women, all because you have little (have given your self little) or

nothing to do. Keep yourself active, study the Word and do It to avoid sleep from catching up with you,to keep you awake and keep you from dosing off.

    James 1

Be ye doers of the Word

19My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and

    slow to become angry,20

because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word

planted in you, which can save you.

22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

    23Anyone who

listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror24

and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.25

Butwhoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in itnot

forgetting what they have heard, but doing itthey will be blessed in what they do.

26Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues

deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.27

Religion that God our Father accepts aspure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself

from being polluted by the world.

If you just decide to sit on the sit on the side lines and watch other player play, If you just decide to read

about the war in papers and not join in the fighting, If you decide to just sit and wait for Jesus to come

back by the time He comes back you will have fallen off the window and died. The enemy would have

destroyed you a long time ago. You would be ancient news, long and forgotten by the time Jesus

comes back, you would have backslidden, you would be lost in sin, you would be lying dead and helpless

in the darkness. You would need a second deliverance to save you AGAIN from death and darkness.

Very few men can fall asleep in the middle of a fight. Very few men can fall asleep in the middle of a

battle. Get into the battle field attack the enemy, seek to take =cities, pursue the enemy and seek to

take back what he stole and took away from you. pan the next move, seek greater and higher things,

seek greater knowledge, seek more power, seek a greater revelation of the Truth, seek higher anointing,

seek to be better than you sued to be, seek to take cities tat are yet to be taken, never be satisfied, seek

to do as much as you before Jesus comes back, seek to do as much damage to the kingdom as you can

before Jesus comes back, seek to gain as many victory notches as you can , to serve Him as hard as you

can so that when He comes back He will have a great reward for you.

    Isaiah 43

    18Forget the former things;

do not dwell on the past.19 See, I am doing a new thing!

Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

I am making a way in the wilderness

    and streams in the wasteland.

    Jeremiah 33:3

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'

Seek to rise to the highest level there can possibly be, the sky is the limit, there is always room for

Improvement always one more step to take before you get to the Promised land, always one more

battle to fight before the final and ultimate victory is won, dont settle for second best, refuse to

accept2nd place, accept only the best. Remember you have only one life, only one chance to make your

mark in the word, only one chance to be a millionaire, only one chance to make an Impact so make the

most of It. only one chance to get all the things you could possibly want. One shot is all you get so make

It good. Seek to be the best.

    WORK HARD

Stop sitting on the window and falling asleep waiting for the wind the enemy to pull you out and kill

you. Rise up and fight. When you take one city seek to take the next one, when you take the next one

seek to take the one after that until you have built an empire and live in complete safety fee of any rivalsor threats, free of any enemies.

Instead of walking towards the Promised land, run to the Promised land, Instead of run to the Promised

land fly to the Promised land. God doesnt dram for you, that is up to you. dream big, the Lord wont

    stop you. it pleases Him.

    Matthew 8

    The Faith of the Centurion

5When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.

    6Lord, he

said, my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.

7Jesus said to him, Shall I come and heal him?

8The centurion replied, Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the

word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiersunder me. I tell this one, Go, and he goes; and that one, Come, and he comes. I say to my

servant, Do this, and he does it.

10When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, Truly I tell you, I

have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.

The Lord acts upon your faith, dreaming big and seeing big and thinking big SHOWS FAITH, It shows

that you Truly believe that Nothing is Impassable with God that I can do all things through Christ who

strengthens me, It shows tat you believe the Truth of the Word of God tat you have faith.

    Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that

he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
