MANDATORYBEAUTY COMPETITION This event is mandatory for all contestants. Contestants will do a simple walk on the stage. All contestants up to age 13 yrs. can wear a short or long dress. Ages 14 yrs. and over should wear a fl oor length evening gown. Judging will be based on facial beauty, stage presence and overall appeal. Please wear your beauty dress for the Crowning Ceremony.On Stage Introduction: All contestants ages 6 yrs. and up will give a simple introduction of themselves to the audience and judges during the beauty competition. This will account for about 10% of their beauty competition score. Time Limit: 2 minutes

NATURAL & GLITZ SEPARATIONFor girls in the Baby Miss through Jr. Miss age divisions (0-13 yrs.) there will be two age divi-sions one Natural and one Glitz.

GLITZA glitz contestant can wear make up and use false hair, tanning, eyelashes and/or fl ippers in the beauty competition and all on stage optional events. They may turn in retouched photographs for non performing optional events.

NATURALA natural contestant is not allowed to wear any make up or use false hair, tanning, eyelashes and or fl ippers while competing. Clear lip gloss is permitted. There are no clothing restrictions. For Photogenic, Portfolio, Composite or Print Model they must turn in none retouched photographs. Photos may be cropped and have lighting adjusted only. NO smoothing out skin/hair or adding/remov-ing anything additional that was not there to begin with. LIGHT minimal makeup in photographs is allowed.

CONTESTANTS 0-13 YEARS CHOOSE YOUR STYLE!

RUNWAYThis is a free style runway-modeling event. Attire can range from a trendy high fashion “vogue” look to a tailored suit. Clothing can be anything that you would see in a fashion show. Judging will be based on modeling ability and overall ap-pearance. We supply the music. Time Limit: 1 minute

SWIMWEARThis is a free style-modeling event. Swimsuitscan be a one or two piece for contestants 14 yrs.& up, but must be a one-piece for contestants0-13 yrs. We do NOT want two pieces held together by mesh or with the sides cut out. We are looking for a FULL one piece in the front. Tankinis are allowed if the top is long enough to completely cover the stomach in the front.You may wear heals or go barefoot. Judging will be based on fi tness, stage presence and overall appearance. We supply the music.Time Limit: 1 minute

PHYSICAL FITNESSThis is a free style modeling event. Attire can be any outfi t that represents an activity that you do to stay in shape! Some examples are aerobic wear, a sports uniform or a dance costume. Judging will be based on proportional fi gure, fi tness, stage presence and overall appearance. We supply the music. No fl ips or cartwheels. Time Limit: 1 minute

PATRIOTIC WEARThis is a free style-modeling event. Show us your American spirit! Attire should include the colors red, white and blue. Please no props just you! Judging will be based on personality, modeling (ability to age), creativity, stage presence and overall appearance. Time Limit: 1 minute

PHOTOGENICThis should be a professional head shot. Bring your photo labeled to registration. Judging will based on personality projection, facial beauty, overall appeal, quality and clarity. Photo sizes should be 8”-10” or 8 1/2” by 11”.

MODEL COMPOSITEWe are looking for a simple modeling composite card that showcases the contestants ability to model. We are not looking for digital graphic art or collages. This should be a card or one page of grouped pictures that presents the contestants as a model. Contes-tant’s name, birth date, measurements and contact information should be included. It can be one or two sided. Judging will be based on print model potential, creativity, quality and clarity. Please email us for an example at ecusa@live.com. Composite sizes may vary.

PRINT MODELSubmit your best full length photo! We are look-ing for a photo that captures your personality and your personal style. Bring your photo to registration. Judging will be based on personal style, personality projection, facial beauty, overall impression, quality and clarity.Photo sizes: 8”x10” or 8.5”x11” Photo sizes should be 8”-10” or 8 ½” -11”.

PORTFOLIOBring your best 6-12 photos to registration in a labeled portfolio. (Suggested you may have more photos.) They can be on-location shots or studio shots. They can be head shots, three quarter or full length. Judging will be based on commercial appeal, print model potential, modeling style, quality and clarity. Photos sizes may vary.

MODEL SEARCHAll contestants while participating at the East Coast USA Pageant will be involved in a model search. Some of our judges and some special people in the audience representing model-ing and talent agencies will be attending our national competition looking for new faces. Contestants selected will be contacted by agents for possible contracts.

MOTHER AND DAUGHTER COMPETITION INFORMATION The East Coast USA Mother and Daughter competition has been the audience favorite for the past ten years! This event is a completely separate competition. This is a lot of fun and re-quires only that you and your child walk the stage together and answer a simple on-stage question in front of the judges. The Mother and Daughter winners will receive gorgeous crowns and ban-ners and the experience will create memories that will last a lifetime! It’s only required that one of the contestants either the child or mother be registered as a contestant in the pageant.

FATHER AND DAUGHTER COMPETITION INFORMATION The East Coast USA Father and Daughter competition is will be held for the fi fth year! This event is a completely separate competition. This is a lot of fun and requires only that the father and child walk the stage together and answer a simple on-stage question in front of the judges. The Father and Daughter winners will receive gorgeous crowns and banners and the experi-ence will create memories that will last a lifetime! It’s only required that the child be registered as a contestant in the pageant.

TALENT COMPETITION INFORMATIONThe East Coast USA Talent Competition is a sepa-rate competition. There are different age divisions for talent. They are Youth 5-7 yrs., Junior 8-10 yrs., Pre-Teen 11-13 yrs., Teen 14-16 yrs. and Adult 17 yrs. & up. There will be a three-minute time limit. There will be a winner in each age division. Each age division winner will receive a beautiful crown and banner. The highest scoring contestant out of all the talent contestants will be awarded the East Coast USA Performer of the Year title. They will win a beautiful crown, banner, special award and a $500.00 U.S. Savings Bond!

To qualify for the Ultimate Grand Supreme, Grand Supreme and Mini Supreme titles we use your beauty competition score and your three highest scoring optional events. At least one of the optional events used for your supreme score must be an on stage modeling optional event (ex. Runway). There is no limit to how many optional events you can enter.

For dancers wearing their dance costumes for fi tness we encourage you to wear your dancing attire and you can do “dance moves” at each X however we are not looking for a talent routine. East Coast USA Ultimate Grand Supreme The contestant with the highest combined scores from the beauty com-petition and their highest scoring three optional events (must include at least one onstage modeling event) in the whole pageant will be crowned the East Coast USA Ultimate Grand Supreme. This lucky contestant will win a $4000.00 U.S. Savings Bond they will also be awarded a large beautiful crown, banner, national recognition and the opportunity to participate in a year fi lled with exciting appearances!

East Coast USA Grand Supreme WinnersThe contestant in 0-13 yrs. Natural, 0-13 yrs. Glitz and 14 yrs. and up with the highest combined scores from the beauty competition and their highest scoring three optional events (must include at least one onstage modeling event) will be crowned the East Coast USA Grand Supreme. They will each receive $2000.00 U.S. Savings Bond, a large beautiful crown, banner, national recognition and the opportunity to participate in a year fi lled with exciting appearances!

East Coast USA Mini Supreme WinnersThe contestant in 0-13 yrs. Natural, 0-13 yrs. Glitz and 14 yrs. and up with the second highest combined scores from the beauty com-petition and their highest scoring three optional events (must include at least one onstage modeling event) will be crowned the East Coast USA Mini Supreme. They will each receive $1000.00 U.S. Savings Bond, a large beautiful crown, banner, national recognition and the opportunity to participate in a year fi lled with exciting appearances!

East Coast USA Divisional Beauty WinnersThe highest Beauty Competition score will determine the queens. We will be awarding a natural and a glitz divisional queen title in the Baby through Jr. Miss age divisions 0-13 yrs. We will also be awarding a divi-sional queen title in the Young Miss through Ms. divisions. They will each receive a beautiful crown, a satin embroidered banner, $500.00 U.S. Savings Bond, a nice gift, national recognition and the op-portunity to participate in a year fi lled with exciting appearances!

East Coast USA Optional Event WinnersWe will award a winner for each optional event in each age division. They will receive a nice gift and national recognition in front of the huge national audience!

East Coast USA Beauty Side AwardsThese are optional awards that you may register for. They include Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Smile, Best Dressed, and Best Personality. These titles are judged during the Beauty Competition. We will award a winner for each title in the following age groups, Natural 0-13 yrs., Glitz 0-13 yrs., and 14 yrs. & up. Winners will receive a big gift as their prize.

East Coast USA Ambassador, Miss Congeniality & HostessWe will be awarding an Ambassador and Miss Congeniality title. There are no additional entry fees for these awards and all contestants will be considered for these awards. The Hostess title is awarded to the contes-tant who has sold the most advertisement pages in the national program book. Winners will receive a beautiful crystal crown, satin embroidered banner, the opportunity to participate in a year fi lled with exciting appear-ances and recognition in front of a huge national audience!

Mother/Daughter Awards We will be awarding an East Coast USA Mother/Daughter award. This award is given to the highest scoring Mother/Child duo in our Mother/Daughter Competition. The winners will receive beautiful crowns, satin embroidered banners, a nice gift, recognition in front of a huge national audience and the opportunity to participate in a year fi lled with exciting appearances!

Father/Daughter Awards We will be awarding an East Coast USA Father/Daughter award. This award is given to the highest scoring Father/Daughter duo in this com-petition. The winners will receive beautiful crowns, satin embroidered banners, a nice gift, recognition in front of a huge national audience and the opportunity to participate in a year fi lled with exciting appearances!

Talent Competition AwardsWe will be awarding a talent winner in each age division. Talent winners will receive a beautiful crystal crown, satin embroidered banner and recognition in front of a huge national audience! We will also be award-ing the East Coast Performer of the Year! This title will be given to the highest scoring talent contestant. They will receive $500.00 U.S. Savings Bond, a beautiful crystal crown, fully beaded and rhinestone satin ban-ner, special gift and recognition in front of a huge national audience!

Each contestant must submit a photo of herself with their application. This photo will be used for the program book in the contes-tant line up portion. Submitted photos should be wallet size (2.5 x 3.5). Email your photo in JPEG format only to Ecusa@Live.com.

By selling ad pages for the national program book you can cover your entry fee for pag-eant weekend. You may sell advertisement pages to national or local businesses. You may also sell advertisement pages to your family and friends as “Good Luck” pages so they can show their support.

For each FULL page you sell $50.00 will gotoward your entry fee. If you sell enough pagesto cover your entry fee any additional moneyearned ($50.00 per full page) will be held on credit for future East Coast USA pageants!

The contestant who sells the most ad pages will win the East Coast USA Hostess title and receive a beautiful crown and banner! If you

would like a sample of a past years program book and information packet to get ideas from or to show prospective sponsors the quality advertising they are purchasing, you may call our national offi ce and one will by mailed to you. Our staff will design your pages all you need to do is send us the information you would like on the page and your photo.

JudgesThe East Coast USA Pageant uses very qual-ifi ed and experienced judges at our national event. Some of the judges will be represent-ing modeling and talent agencies looking for new faces. Contestants and judges will be staying in the same hotel for the weekend. We ask that if you recognize a judge and see them in the hotel during pageant weekend you refrain from talking to them. A simple “hello”, is ok but nothing more please. We appreciate your cooperation.

The “Bumping System”For all that are not familiar with the “Bump-ing System”, it is a system used to pull the supreme winners from winning the other titles. The East Coast USA Pageant uses the bump-ing system in the following simple way; all supreme winners can not win their age division beauty title, beauty side awards, optional event awards, or model of the year awards. They can win the People’s Choice Award, Hostess, Mother and Daughter Competition, Father and Daughter Competition or Talent Competition because these are separate competitions.

Security & AdmissionsDuring pageant weekend, no one without an admission pass will be allowed in the ball-room at anytime, no exceptions. This is to provide a safe environment for contestants and their families. All doors to the ballroom will be secured with staff. Each contestant will receive one weekend admission pass for a parent/guardian with his or her registration fee; all other tickets needed must be purchased. Weekend passes are available for $25.00 each to be purchased pageant weekend. Everyone over 5 years old will need a pass.
