If it looks like rain, we bring it all inside - minus the horses (sorry guys!) - and have a grand time anyway! So mark your calendars and inviteeveryone! Our goal is to make 150 boxes. So what can you do? Your family can pick up a box and guide from the welcome center. (You can use a plastic tub or wrap a shoebox instead) Choose an age/gender and fill your box(es) with things for the age/gender you selected, remembering to follow the guide instructions Return your box any time from October through November 5th. Samaritans Purse does request a seven dollar donation to cover the shipping cost. If you use a check, please make it out to FBC as we will pay for all shipping online so we can track where our boxes end up! If you would like to participate by donating $25, Kidz on a Mission will purchase gifts and make a box for you. This would also cover shipping your box. That’s it, you have impacted the life of a needy child!

Get ready to have a whole lot of fun!!! We look forward to our Fall Festival every year as kids get a

chance to have a blast and invite all their friends and family to join

in the fun with them. We will have plenty of food, including

nachos, popcorn and cotton candy to eat. The Storehouse

students return with the glow maze which has been a big hit.

There will be three inflatables, including one just for the little guys.

Lighthouse Farms will be bringing TWO horses for rides, which will

keep the line shorter. Kids will get to play different games and

earn prizes for them. When they need a break they can enjoy a

hayride around the property and try their hands at some crafts.

We will also have balloon twisting and face glittering and a picture

booth. Of course we will have a trunk or treat, just to keep them

excited when they go home (you’re welcome parents!). As always,

this is a rain or shine event. If it isn’t raining, there will be plenty of

tables set out in the middle of the gym where you can eat and

take a break. If it looks like rain, we bring it all inside - minus the

horses (sorry guys!) - and have a grand time anyway! So mark your

calendars and invite…everyone!

Commitment Dinner Coloring Contest TIME IS RUNNING OUT!!! !

Our Commitment Dinner is just around the corner. To add a nice touch, and bring kids into the decorating, we have made a coloring page of the new building for the kids to color. These will be copied, enlarged and laminated to be the placemats on the tables. The originals will also be on display for the event. To ensure the best work, I thought a competition would drive some excitement. So, all coloring pages turned in by September 28th will be considered for the prizes. A prize will be given for the best page from each of our GROW groups: Seeds, Sprouts and The Grove. You may make multiple entries. You can use markers, crayons, colored pencils or paint. Please no stickers, glitter etc. Please cover as much of the page in color as possible as we will be enlarging them and white space will be more prominent. Don’t forget to add your name!!
