WHO IS MAKINGTHIS FESTIVAL POSSIBLE?Get Set Festival is only possi-ble because of the hard work of a small group of friends from Porto. All themcome from dif-erent areas such as architecture, design, video and economics. The Team is formed by Luis Fer-nandes & Luis de Sousa as the Coordinators, Mariana Baldaia as the Graphic Designer, Francisco Ri-beiro as Webdesigner, Favo Studio on the Video/Motion Design and Francisco Sendas as the manager. This year we have the useful help of Agata Szulc, our super intern from Poland.

As always we have to thank the great effort of our volunteers and also, a special thanks to ESAD students for the great work they have done! More than this people, the festival is only possible because of every-one that has been present since the first year. Thank to all our friends, partners & sponsors.

ABOUTGet Set Festival is a showcase, an event that aims to present the work of various authors - students and young professionals - pre-senting top contemporary and avant-garde creators and bringing their work to the general public. At the same time it promotes for-mation, interaction and exchange of knowledge between elements of different artistic fields.

A week a year, Oporto is invaded by creators from multiple nationalities in areas like architecture, design, video, art, fashion, new media, multimedia, music, interactivity, performance and installation.

UNDER DESTRUCTION 2013

After three awesome editions, we choose to make this 4th unforgivable. Under-Destruction is the state of this city, year, after year. This theme turns out to be a continuation of last year theme “Decadent Beau-ty”, but this time, we want to have a more active paper in the Porto City. We still believe that it’s possible to regenerate the city, working to-gether, joining the creativity of every sector exiting on our Festival.
