Get the Right Container with How much SPACE do you need? Our Containers come as big as 53’ long and as small as 6’x6’. The most popular size is 8‘x20’. A 20’ Box generally holds all of the contents from a 2-3 bedroom home and it is the best size for moving across town or across the country. We recommend: a 20’ Home-grade Box for most residential moving and storage uses, a 10’ Box for storage at an apartment building or small business, a 40’ Box for business inventory storage or remodeling projects, and a 20’ Construction Box for job sites and building projects. Other features available are: High-cube containers (1’ taller), Double-door containers (cargo doors on both ends), built-in or after-market lockboxes for extra security, and a host of other custom modifications are available... from roll-up doors, to custom shelving, to lights and outlets. The Driver backs the truck into place, gently sets one end of the Box on the ground, and then gently slides the truck out from underneath the Box before setting the other end of the Box on the ground. The Box is always securely resting on either the truck or the ground, so your Box remains safe and secure. 1. Pack an overnight bag first: a change of clothes, toiletries, a snack, and a book or game for each person to unwind after a hard day of moving. 2. Label well: don’t just write the contents of the Box, write the room it goes into, such as: “Books-office” and have a map of the house with each room labeled for helpers to reference. 3. When loading boxes and furniture into your Container, try to build a “wall” of similar sized Boxes stacked on top of each other. Heaviest items on the bottom, lighter stuff on top. Start by packing most “square” shaped and sturdy items together to make the best use of space. The odd-shaped items (like bikes, vacuums, etc.) can go on top of your Boxes or near the doors of the container. 4. Ask for help!
