With St John SA you can gain nationally accredited qualifications, such as Cert III in Basic Health Care. Our regular training and annual re-accreditation process ensures that you have the skills you need.

How it Works
You choose which events you want to attend or apply for. We cover a broad range of events from community markets and school events to concerts of world famous artists and international sports competitions.
How much time you spend volunteering is up to you. Training nights are held on different weeknights, depending on the division you choose, and they usually take around 2 hours.
Volunteering with St John is a rewarding experience and we will give you the necessary training to get you ready for events. You contribute the most valuable: your time, commitment and compassion.
Get behind the scenes
When volunteering in Event Health Services you get to experience some of South Australia’s trademark events from a different perspective. Your workplaces change all the time and can include Adelaide icons like the Adelaide Showgrounds, Adelaide Oval or the Entertainment Centre.
