Located on the shores of Jackson

Lake, Colter Bay Village is ideal

for family vacationers looking for a

National Park experience.

The village provides a wide range

of guest amenities including a full-

service marina, corrals, restaurants,

launderette, showers, grocery store,

service station and gift and apparel

shops, and the National Park Service

Colter Bay Visitor Center and Indian

Arts Museum.

Colter Bay Log CabinsNestled in a forest near the pristine

waters of Jackson Lake, each of these

cozy log cabins are unique. Many are

original settlers’ cabins dating back as

far as the 1890’s. Sleeping from two

to ten guests, most cabins have a

complete bath with shower.

Colter Bay RV ParkOur fully equipped RV Park

includes 112 trailer spaces, each

with sewer, electric and water

connections. Most sites are

pull-through, located under the

shade of pine trees. All include

picnic tables.

Colter Bay DiningDine at our Cafe Court,

offering everything from homemade

beans and salsa to made-to-order

tacos, sandwiches, and hamburgers,

or visit the Ranch House Restaurant

serving family-style meals, complete

with a generous menu for every

age. Enjoy the breakfast buffet, a

casual lunch at the bar or relax in a

Colter Bay Tent CabinsOur Tent Village offers the

Activities in the Tetons

Whether seeking a challenge

or relaxing in the beauty of your

surroundings, there are more ways to

explore than there is room to mention.

So here are a few of the highlights.

On The RiverFly-Fishing: Grand Teton National

Park and nearby Yellowstone are known

for some of the most epic fly-fishing

waters. The challenging Snake River

winds throughout the Park, attracting

anglers from around the country.

Scenic River Floats: Floating on

the Snake River affords a truly unique

perspective for viewing the Park. On

this scenic trip, our guides will share

the history of the valley, noting the

sites and the wildlife along the way.

On The LakeJackson Lake Cruises: Narrated

scenic cruises along the waters of

this glacial lake are fun for everyone.

Breakfast and dinner cruises to Elk

Island are available as well.

Boat Rentals: Explore Jackson

Lake by canoe or motorboat for fishing

or a scenic adventure.

Swimming: Always a favorite for

our family guests, wade on the shores

or dive in for a nice cool swim in one of

the many lakes. A heated pool is also

available at Jackson Lake Lodge for

guests of all our lodges.

In the MeadowsHorseback Riding: Guided

horseback rides are a spectacular way

to view Grand Teton National Park.

Trail rides are one or two hours with

breakfast and dinner available.

Hiking: Exploring on your own is

a popular activity in the Park. Feel free

to ask our staff for a recommendation,

then pack a lunch, plenty of water,

and discover the wildflowers, wildlife

On The RoadBiking: Grand Teton National

Park gives you the opportunity to

Weather & What To Wear

It is ideal to plan for an active

outdoor vacation. Days are warm,

and lightweight sportswear is

recommended along with sturdy

walking shoes or hiking boots, blue

jeans and a bathing suit to add to your

comfort. Due to our high elevation, the

sun is strong, so bring sunscreen, eye

protection and drink plenty of water.

Length Of StayTo truly experience Grand Teton

National Park, we suggest a few

days stay. Advanced reservations are

strongly encouraged.

Park. Reservations can be made as

early as the November prior to your

arrival. Because of our short season,

from late May through early October,

demand is high for reservations.

We recommend making plans early

for best availability.

Please note that advanced

deposits are required for each

of our locations.

Campsite reservations may

be made for groups of 10 or more

in designated group campsites by

calling our Reservation Department.

Individual sites are only available

on a first come basis and should

be handled upon arrival at each

campground office.
