About Gables Good GovernmentThe Gables Good Government (GGG) Committee was organized by former Coral Gables Mayor Don Slesnick to support issues and causes that preserve and improve the quality of life in Coral Gables and promote the effective and efficient management of its government.

GGG will express views and may advocate for or against initiatives of importance in Coral Gables. The Committee will not, however, endorse or oppose candidates for public office.

GGG will be a source of facts that are verifiable and offer opinions that are based on honest principles — not political propaganda.

If you live or work in Coral Gables or simply care about the future of this great city, you should be part of GGG, Coral Gables is truly one of the finest cities in the world, and GGG is committed to ensuring the continued effectiveness of our municipal government and preserving the quality of life in our city.

The minimum membership level is $50 a year, but there is no cap on monetary or in-kind contributions to this type of committee from individuals or corporations. The Committee has sponsored a series of “meet and greet” membership gatherings featuring prominent guests of honor. Membership proceeds also help pay for mailings, ads, and other materials necessary to effectively communicate with every citizen in Coral Gables.
