This change in the Hazard Communication Standard represents a
significant change in the way that employers and employees deal
with and understand the hazards of chemicals that are used and
that they encounter in the workplace. The changes include the
elimination of some terminology, the introduction of new terminology,
a significant change in the actual requirements for communication of
hazards, and a changer in the well known material safety data
sheet.
