Despite the many challenges Head Start has faced, for over 50 years in counting the program still continues to provide quality comprehensive, child development, and school readiness services for children 0-5 and their families. This year's theme will focus on our journey, the current Head Start model and the future of Head Start. How can we take our Head Start programs to the next level? How can we combat turnover rates and maintain quality programs? How can we tap into other funding sources? How can we motivate ourselves and staff to continue the services for our families and community? What strategies can move us to renew our commitment and passion for Head Start? How can we adjust to all the changes and exceed the performance standards? How well is your program performing in CLASS? Are you prepared for your federal review? How is your program governance and ongoing monitor- ing? Do you have a strategic plan for your agency? What does the future of Head Start look like? These are the questions we would like to focus on in addition to the topics of: Disabilities, Center Managers, ERSEA, Policy Council, Coaching, Professional Development, Administration, and Re- flective Supervision. We welcome your proposals for interactive workshops and engaging training. All presentation slots are 90 minutes.
