'61 Zebra humbuckers deliver the extra-hot sound of early rock

Everyone knows that the Les Paul was one of the most influential guitars of the early rockscene, and a lot of that had to do with Gibson's early humbucker experiments. The '61Zebra humbuckers on the LPM give you the overwound sound that made early Les Paulsperfect for rock. Unbalanced windings and Alnico V magnets are the key to these excitinghumbuckers, giving your LPM the vintage tone that inspired a revolution in modern music.

Gibson's Min-ETune helps you broaden your range as a guitarist

We know you already know how to tune your guitar, but that's not what the LPM'sMin-ETune system is all about. Sure, it's a handy time saver, but the real power is in thealternate tunings. When's the last time you were in a musical slump? Did you try analternate guitar tuning for some fresh inspiration? With the ability to re-tune your LPM toDADGAD, Open D, or any other alternate tuning in seconds, you'll have no reason not toexperiment in new musical ways. And if you end up writing a new song in an alternatetuning, the Min-ETune system will take seconds instead of minutes to re-tune when you'reready to perform it live.

'50s rounded neck carve gives you traditional chunkier feel

If you're less of a fan of Gibson's thinner SlimTaper neck carves, then the LPM's slightlychunkier and incredibly comfortable '50s rounded neck profile is sure to float your boat. Not only is it satisfying in your hand, but the added mass of this neck gives your LPMpunchier dynamics and sustain that will go on for days.
