establishing renowned B2B exhibitions for the

region”

HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa

Prime MinisterKingdom of Bahrain

Gulf Industry Fair (GIF) is the region’s established annual business-to-business (B2B) exhibition for the fast growing industrial sector serving Bahrain, the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and the northern Gulf.

The GIF has established an unrivalled marketing platform for specialist industrial product and service providers, distributors and agencies representing the key segments of Aluminium, Energy and Environmental Protection, Steel and Alloys, Industrial Processes and Manufacturing, Ports and Maritime, Industrial Facilities, Training for Industry; and Industrial Safety and Security.

GIF 2015 continues to receive high level strategic support from key industrial luminaries including Bahrain’s National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) in association with the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), one of the world’s largest aluminium smelters, and Majaal (First Bahrain), a Bahrain-based SME-focused industrial facilities developer.

GCC governments are currently implementing the next phases of their industrial strategies, which will involve many hundreds of billions of dollars in investment and generate unprecedented business opportunities.

Government-driven economic diversification programmes are transforming the Northern Gulf’s industrial and infrastructural landscape, with new world-scale manufacturing facilities and aluminium smelters, ports, logistics and free zone hubs being created, all supported by a vibrant private sector.

Organised by Hilal Conferences & Exhibitions (HCE), Gulf Industry Fair 2015 is set to attract local, regional and international industrial companies including specialist suppliers, distributors and agencies from specific industry sectors.

The Strategic Showcase forIndustrialisation in the GCC

Whatever part you play in the industrialisation and manufacturing process, Gulf Industry Fair provides a unique showcase to promote your products to the trillion dollar marketplace of Saudi Arabia and the Northern Gulf.

The Kingdom of Bahrain, the venue for Gulf Industry Fair, is a well-established industrial base providing powerful opportunities for secondary industries, light manufacturing and logistics. Several industrial areas including the Salman Industrial City are attracting serious investment benefiting from the Kingdom’s prime location and access to ports and superb transport infrastructure. While across the causeway, the GCC’s industrial powerhouse Saudi Arabia expects the share of manufacturing industries to rise to 14 per cent of GDP by 2015.

Bahrain enjoys a unique strategic location, with excellent communications links to its Gulf neighbours providing unrivalled connectivity for companies doing business in the region, while the Kingdom’s open business environment

continues to prove attractive to industrial investors.
