What is Gift-wrapping? Gift wrapping refers to the act of enclosing a gift in some sort of material.

Wrapping paper is a kind of paper designed for gift wrapping. Gifts may also be wrapped in a box. They may be held closed with ribbon and topped with a decorative bow (an ornamental knot made of ribbon).

Consider using COMICS or NEWSPAPERS to wrap your gift; or STAMP and PAINT appropriate designs onto PLAIN WHITE or BROWN KRAFT PAPER.

Choose transparent CELLOPHANE TAPE for your gift wrapping needs.

This kind will give your package a more tidy appearance than can be achieved with other types of tape.

Use a FABRIC – LINED BASKET or a DRAWSTRING FABRIC BAG as wrapper if your gift will not fit in a box.

Cut out pictures of last year’s CALENDAR and use them for gift wrapping.

The pictures are bright and interesting, the coated stock is glossy and finished looking, and the weight of the paper makes the wrapping neat and proper.

OLD MAPS could be wonderful gift

REUSE gift wraps for wrapping smaller presents. Also reuse HIGH QUALITY RIBBON, especially one whose fabric can be ironed flat to look like new.

TipsCheck the Label in any package of gift-wrapping paper to make sure there is enough paper inside to wrap your gift box.

If you are wrapping a very large box or several gifts, you may need to purchase more than one package.

Do not choose gift-wrapping paper that comes folded into precut squares.

Such kind of paper has deep creases which give your package a crumpled, untidy appearance. Opt for paper that comes in a tube instead.

Be creative in wrapping gifts.

Keep the recipient’s age, likes and dislikes in mind when choosing the colors and types of materials used in wrapping.

Do not forget to remove the price tag before wrapping your gift.
