• Spiritual Gifts (“pneumatikon” = spiritual things)– By context (vs 8-11), meaning is understood– Elsewhere: Charismata – charis = grace– Graced, free, undeserved enablings of the Spirit

Definitions…A SPIRITUAL GIFT: A special enabling, given by the Holy Spirit to every believer when they trust Christ, to be used to minister to God and others, building up the Body of Christ.

• You can’t work for/earn them (Eph 4:7)
