“I have heard time and time again in the purebred industry that you have to sell the good ones; however, I never thought it would be this difficult. Last year we were fortunate enough to raise and exhibit the Reserve Champion Senior Yearling Heifer at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. As luck would have it, during an incredibly bad snow storm with closed roads she calved successfully and yielded a Consensus heifer calf. This heifer calf is a footprint of her mom as a calf. The pedigree of Bismarck and Consensus is a show stopper as we anticipate the circuit this fall. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words and I think above tells the story of this cow family.
