Voting is restricted to Year 2 to Year 5 students and staff to determine the outcome of the elections. Students have been informed that they may seek assistance with their speeches from Mrs Rogers, Miss Nelson, and Ms Williams and Mrs Howard to discuss the content after they write their draft first. Wudhagaragarra Awards The Wudhagaragarra Awards are a celebration of the Excellence in Indigenous Education achievements by students, staff, parents and community. Congratulations to the following students who were successful in these categories: Emalia Saunders: Encouragement Award Aali-yah Priddis: Encouragement Award Kaliyah Priddis: Encouragement Award The students received their awards at a recent ceremony held in Dubbo on 6 November at the Dubbo RSL Club. Well done to all recipients. State Athletics Last week 2 of our senior girls travelled to Sydney for the PSSA athletics carnival. Sarah Chandler and Maddie Amiet competed against some of the best athletes for their age in Australia. Sarah placed 18th in the 1500m taking 12 seconds off her PB and 27th in the 800m. Maddie placed 31 st in the discus throwing 17.25m. A great achievement for these girls to reach State level and enjoy their experience. Remembrance Day Tricia Howard and School Captains, Yindi Naden and Isaiah Aro, together with Prefects Kailee Edwards and Tess Rogers attended the Remembrance Day Ceremony held at the cenotaph yesterday and laid a wreath on behalf of the School.
