The final days play

• Aussies vs India at the Adelaide oval. • It is Gilly’s last test match.• My family and I sat with the Gilchrist family, and when

the game finished my sister and I went onto the Adelaide Oval.

The final days play

• After that we went into the Aussies dressing room.• I got a photo with every player in the team.

The Dressing Room

• I was going up to Mitchell Johnson for some tips on bowling and he said the tips and then we were talking about batting and he gave me his gloves. They were the gloves that he wore to bat in this test match.

• I was going up to Hados for him to sign the gloves and he said “see those pads over there, they were the ones I wore when I got 103 runs this game. I don’t need them any more, you can have them if you want”.

• It was his last test match. He is my favorite player in the whole world.

• Andrew Symonds (Roy) is the coolest player in the Australian team.

Mike Hussey• Mike Hussey is a really

good batter and fielder.• His nickname is MR

CRICKET because they say he loves everything about cricket just like me.

Ricky Ponting • Ricky Ponting is the

captain of the Australian cricket team.

• I call him PUNTER.

Brett Lee• Brett Lee is one of my favorite bowlers in the Australian team.

• I call him BINGA.• He can bowl a ball at

150kph. My best is 68kph. • I hope I am as fast as him

one day.

Brad Hogg

• Brad Hogg came into the team to replace Shane Warne.

• I call him HOGGY.• He was a really nice

person to talk to.

Phil Jacques

• Phil Jacques is new to the Australian team.

• I call him JACQUSEY.• He is a left handed

batsman.• He is from NSW, the

best state in Australia.

Stuart Clark

• He is a fast swing bowler in the Australian team.

• I call him STEWY CLARK.• He bowled really well in

the Sydney test which was good to watch.

Billy Bowden

• Billy is the worst umpire in the whole entire world.

• He is the umpire that dances around the pitch when someone hits a boundary.
