We offer a one year warranty with all of our service levels. Our technicians are factory trained, use state of the art equipment, and manufacturer replacement parts whenever possible. We are ISO 17025 accredited for both the Service Center and field work. We restore pipettes to like new condition, using manufacturer specifications. What does this mean to you? Gilson pipette service is an excellent tool to expand your reach within accounts and provide your customers with access to impartial pipette experts. It also provides you with access to trade-in pipette business when pipettes are too damaged or old to repair. Bring your service leads to your local Gilson Representative or our Technical Support group and we will help you manage the details. We can also customize our service options to meet your customers’ needs. How it Works 1. The customer places their service order through Fisher, referencing the Gilson part number. See Appendix A. 2. The customer fills out the appropriate order form and includes it with their pipette(s), and then either ships their pipettes into the Gilson Service Center or schedules on-site service in their lab. a. Forms can be downloaded from http://www.pipetman.com/Service.aspx . See Appendix B and Appendix C for examples. 3. Once Gilson receives the pipettes with the order form and PO, our service technicians will service the pipettes. A work order # will be assigned for this service. a. If the pipettes require any repairs beyond what is included with the service offer we will contact the customer for authorization, unless otherwise designated on their order form. b. Gilson will then provide Fisher with a Service Estimate which includes the part numbers for everything associated with the service at list price. This estimate is to be used to create the quote for the customer. c. Fisher will need to generate a quote for any parts the customer is being charged. All spare parts will require an “NC number” to be created by the Fisher Representative. d. Fisher will provide customer with quote for spare parts. A second PO from Fisher will be submitted through the EDI system. Fisher’s PO for spare parts must reference the Service Work Order # assigned by Gilson accordingly. 4. Once Gilson has received PO information to cover the entire service order, including spare parts, the serviced pipettes will be returned to the customer. 5. Gilson invoices Fisher directly and Fisher will invoice the customer, as per PO (s).

How it Works
