Analysis

This task requires students to demonstrate a comprehensive grasp of the nature and range of work performed by engineers. The research will cover the role of engineers as managers, influential engineering innovation of materials, and any significant historical aspects. Students will evaluate their chosen engineer through submission of a research report.

This task will allow students to acquire a clear understanding of the work of a Bio Medical engineer via the use of an audio-visual presentation, and an engineering report. Students learn about topics such as career paths, new technologies developed and ethical decision-makers who are legally and morally responsible for the impact of their decisions.
