CROSS UPDATE We have been advised by the joiner making the cross that they are unable to complete it before Christmas due to other commitments. Thanks for your patience in waiting for it
to finally appear on the wall.
We would like to provide a Christmas food hamper to some selected community ministries and kindergarten families again this year. These have been a blessing for a number of families and they are usually overwhelmed when they receive them. If you are not part of a DiGs but would like to participate this year as a family or with a group of friends let us know and we will allocate a family to you with suggested items for hamper and then you will have a few weeks to organise a banana box of goodies. It would be helpful for our planning if you could let us know by 27th November if you want to be involved this year. We would like the boxes in by Wednesday December 14th please. Contact Sharyn Goodin or Margaret Smith for more info
Exciting Opportunity An exciting opportunity has come up in our crèche (0 – 4 years old) starting February 2017. A great way to be more involved in the life of our church. If you are interested please see Susan Williams or contact her on 027 737 7404
WHEELCHAIR The church now owns a wheelchair that is stored in the electrical cupboard. If you need access to this don’t hesitate to ask.
Ready for an Adventure? Love Kids? Tranzsend Needs You! Georgia and Daniel, whose parents work with Freeset in South Asia, need someone to supervise their NZ Correspondence School work for at least one year. You do not need to be a qualified teacher, simply someone who is organised, loves great kids and ready for an adventure! You will free up their parents, Colin and Tania, to further develop work and relationships in their local village and also to invest more time in language study. Interested in knowing more? Please contact Andrew Page at Tranzsend NOW on Phone: 09 526 8442 or mobile: 027 425 9286 or [email protected]
