1. IN MY OPINION In my opinion, it's a very sound investment. 2. IN MY VIEW Bob: You're as wrong as can be. / John: In my view, you are wrong. 3. TO MY MIND To my mind we have enough money to start building now. The professor made a comment about his appearance that, to his mind, was not appropriate. 4. IN MY BOOK (INFORMAL) She's never lied to me, and in my book that counts for a lot. 5. IF YOU ASK ME (INFORMAL) If you ask me, people should go on a training course before they become parents. If you ask me, she doesnt really want the job. 6. AS I SEE IT Tom: This matter is not as bad as some would make it out to be. Alice: Yes. This whole affair has been overblown, as I see it. 7. IN MY ESTIMATION In my estimation a lot of other banks are going to have the same problem. Since he left his wife he's certainly gone down in my estimation (= I have less respect for him).
