caravans and 5 classic British caravans

Vintage Vacations was the original glamping
holiday business on the Island and one of
the first in the UK to offer this type of
holiday. Having successfully run the business
for the last 15 years the current owners are
looking to pass the business on. Currently
the caravans are situated in a rural location
close to the seaside town of Ryde and
ideally situated for exploring the local area
and all the attractions that the Island has
whilst offering a peaceful location with
wonderful views. The current owners lease
the field that houses the caravans with a
two year rolling agreement. The landlord
has indicated that the lease could be

The 13 vintage American caravans comprise
9 Airstreams, 3 Spartans and 1 Vagabond all
with aluminium finishes. These and the
classic British caravans have all been
preserved to retain their original features

The site provides a separate shower and
toilet facility. As well as being fully
equipped each caravan is provided with a
picnic bench, sunshade, deck chairs, BBQ's
and log burners for outdoor use. There is a
hard standing car park.
The business has been successful in
developing private events alongside the
main business. With capability to sleep 40-
50 people, Vintage Vacations has
successfully hosted weddings, parties and
mini-festivals.
The business has had a large amount of
exposure in the national press and has won
and been nominated for a number of
awards including one in the Tourism and
Leisure category of the Isle of Wight
Business Chamber of Commerce Awards for
Excellence. In 2012 Vintage Vacations were
runners up in Coast Magazines awards for
Best Caravan and Camping Site. Vintage
Vacations also won the best place to go
glamping from My Isle of Wight Awards for
two years running.
