Ideal for largerproperties, a P-shape
can combine for example alean-to and a Victorian.
A premium extension built with brick walls and an optional plinth. This classic atrium design includes
internal pelmets as standard.
The front panel of the roof remains upright for impressive high ceilings.
Just like an Edwardian it’s square design provides optimal floor space.
Combines a lean to style with either Edwardian or gable features that are
better suited to larger properties.
The Stratton “Hybrid Orangery” system is a contemporary take on
the classic orangery. Using modern design this affordable system will
blow your neighbours away.
Provides a simplistic design whilst achieving optimal space. The Lean to design is one of the most widely
used roofs.
A flat-fronted style that offers excel-lent use of floor space due to asquare or rectangular internal
shape.
Its distinguishingarchitectural feature, a bayfront, with either an angled
(3 bay) or (5 bay) front.
Our 21st century loggia design can accompany most roof styles. It com-prises of contemporary aluminium
columns and a gorgeous aluminium cornice to hide the gutters.

Windows & Doors
All of our roofs are structurally checked on our bespoke software
before manufacture. In fact, the conservatory roofing system we use was given a life expec-
tancy of at least 25 years by the BBA (Brit-
ish Board of Agrément) and was the first in the industry to acquire this
accreditation.
We offer a wide choice of high performance uPVC and aluminium side frames. French casement windows
and bi-folding doors are a nice way to open up your property. Full height or half height top hung vents
add a modern twist to the classic conservatory design. Foundation
Ventilated Ridge
As warm air rises, our ventilation system on the
ridge (or wall-plate on lean to conservatories ) allows
it to escape minimising the potential of condensation.
Most customers prefer walls rather than full height frames to the floor. Walls reduce floor area when com-
pared with full frames but they also add a cosy feel.

Heat-guard
Polycarbonate is the least expensive option for glazing a conservatory roof. It is a very popular glazing material as it is lightweight, durable and has unparalleled strength, which is up to 200 times stronger than glass and virtually shatter-proof.
The standard range of polycarbonate is 25mm or 35mm in thickness, with a colour choice of clear, bronze, opal, bronze/opal and heat-guard.
All are designed to reduce glare and minimise solar heat gain. Bronze/Opal gives a bright internal appearance even on a dull day, reduces solar heat gain and provides privacy. Heat-guard limits the potential for heat build-up within the conservatory, whilst allowing light to enter the roof, deflecting solar radiation and reducing solar heat gain by up to 50%, when compared with conventional polycarbonate.

Conservatory Internal Options
Glass & Windows Ltd
ClassicThe traditional conservatory starts
with your Stratton Classic roof which when combined with it’s dou-
ble glazed insulated side window & door frames provides a fantastic living space that can be used year
round.
ContemporaryAdd an internal pelmet and piers
created with bricks or the insulated Loggia column. When these are
combined with the plastered dwarf walls a feeling of solidity is created whilst still maintaining the bright
appearance of a sunroom.
Ultimate ExtensionAdding to the contemporary style our ultimate range is created using a light weight, insulated solid roof
along with glazed sections for added light and style. Combine this with our optional A++ triple glazed side frames to achieve ultimate all
year round comfort.
Internal Pelmet
Heating
Flooring
LightingAdding the optional internal
pelmet to your conservatory adds warmth and style. This modern
design is created by adding frame-work that is packed with insulation then plastered to create an impres-sive internal pelmet ideal for host-
ing down-lighters and speakers.
Whilst your conservatory will be incredibly ther-
mally efficient it will need heating. You can choose from electric panel heat-
ing, Loggia electric corner heaters, underfloor heat-
ing or traditional plumbed in wet radiators.
We can leave the concrete as left by the builder to allow you to
source your own flooring. Alternatively we have a variety of floor choices for you to choose from
including tiles, laminates, vinyl, timber and carpets.
Choose from wall lights and
ridge lights or for a modern twist upgrade with a pelmet or plas-tered ridge with LED down-lights.

or have an HD wood-grain print. We can also spray finish to any colour. Please ask one of our
representatives for more advice on our colour options.
Choose from brick or insulated aluminium corner posts. The Loggia aluminium corner posts are five times more thermally efficient than a similar sized brick column. Loggia columns can be wide or nar-
row with either a smooth or fluted aluminium finish to complement or contrast your property.

Sliding Patio Doors
The entrance and exit to your conservatory is an important decision to factor into your design. All of our doors are A rated as standard with the op-tion to upgrade to A+. Our French door range can achieve up to an A++ rating with triple glazing.
Available in both ‘open in’ & ‘open out’ styles; The hinged French door is an attractive option for conserv-atories. It allows you to open the entire aperture whilst having a practical traffic door. This option is best used with no obstructions such as furniture or plant pots.
The Stratton patio door has ultra slim sight-lines and allows vast expanses of glass to ensure you enjoy the maximum amount of natural light in your conservatory. It’s effortless opening mechanism and smooth motion provide a satisfyingly noiseless glide.

The stylish Stratton Bifolding door comes in both uPVC and alumin-ium. It comes in a wide range of colours and finishes including wood grains and greys. The lightweight and slim frame has a smooth glide and maximises the amount of light into your new glazed extension.
The Stratton bi-fold door provides a stunning entrance to your new glazed extension. They give you the option to open up the entire aperture on a lovely sunny day and offer an optional traffic door for practical use in the colder months.

Side Hung &/or Top Hung French Window
Casement windows are the most popular window frame used on conserva-tories due to their versatility and simplicity. They come in a choice of cham-fered, sculptured and flush mouldings along with a vast variety of colours. French windows can be used as an option for an unobstructed opening.
Tilt and turn windows are fantastic for conservatories as they allow impres-sively large openings, meaning more glass and less frame. They “tilt” inwards for ventilation or with a further twist of the handle the window open all the way on side hinges.

Fascia Orangery
Orangeries &Glazed Extensions
Glass & Windows Ltd
These timeless traditional extensions are best suited to larger properties. This method involves us constructing the brickwork above the height of the lowest point of the roof and finishing them with coping stones to prevent damage to the brickwork below. The increased height on the brickwork thereby conceals the flat roof and guttering system, which in turn achieves the impressive traditional orangery finish.
Whether you are looking to extend your kitchen, lounge or add a luxurious light space to your home the Stratton Glass and Windows fascia system is ideal. Our fascia system involves us constructing an insulated timber roof that sits on top of the brickwork. We then install the desired quantity of raised glazed lantern roofs. Our lantern roofs are constructed to increase sight lines with the minimal amount of bars to increase your view of the sky.
They allow you to extend your home with the feeling of four solid walls, finished in the brick or render to compliment your home.
The orangery benefits with a glazed roof lantern that allows the light to flood in during the day and allows you to gaze at the stars while entertaining guests at night. For an incredibly impressive finish we recom-mend taller windows to let more light in.
The timber roof is made watertight with a choice of finishes. We offer traditional asphalt flat roof, a Ruberoid roof or fibreglass roof. To add further character externally we finish the sides of the timber roof with decorative fascia and gutters.
As with the plinth system, our fascia system has an internal pelmet that is ideal for hosting LED down-lights and or wireless speakers to connect to your devices.
Orangery drawings are for illustrative purposes only. Every structure can vary depending on the method of construction.
Bespoke GlazedExtensions
Glass & Windows Ltd
This stylish extension is perfect for large bifolding doors or double in line sliders to allow you to open up the entire space for family and friends to enjoy.
The Veranda comes in a choice of standard colours including grey, white and cream but is also offered in bespoke RAL colours.
For added shading and privacy a side ma-sonry wall adds some solidarity to the new structure. You can also hang pictures on the new wall for a homely feel.
The Veranda is another exciting innovation by Ultraframe. It’s sim-plistic single pitched glazed roof includes an overhang that makes it ideal for risk free dining if you want to sit outside without worry-ing about the weather.

Ultrasky OrangeryThe all NEW Ultrasky glazed extension is the latest innovation from Ultraframe. Its stylish sleek design eliminates bulky internal claddings and reduces the rafter count meaning more glass in your roof to increase the light.
Ultrasky’s ridge is strong and thermally insulated. This ridge is at the centre of every Ultrasky design, reducing the need for multiple bars to maximise the amount of glass, creating the perfect living space whether you’re entertaining, relaxing with your family, or having a cosy night in.
The roof includes the Stratton internal pelmet perfect for hosting speakers and down lights. The Ultrasky orangery is also com-patible with our cornice range.
A Technical survey is carried out by one of our professional surveyors. They will visit the site to assess the
site and take accurate measure-ments for production.
We will lay the foundations for your new conservatory. Once these are in place we will build the base and walls that form a solid support for
the structure.
Once the building work is complete our trained conservatory installers will install the side frames ready for
your new conservatory roof .
Once the side frames are in place we will install your choice of roof and glaze the structure making it
watertight.
We offer all the trades to complete your conservatory from start to fin-ish including electrics, flooring and
plastering.
Once all of our trades are complete we will clean down your new
conservatory ready for you to enjoy for years to come.
Choosing the correct design for your home is crucial. Our staff can
help you through this process. Our software checks the structural integ-rity of the build but also generates a 3D drawing to help you visualise the
end product.
At Stratton once you have chosen your design our trained staff can generate a competitive price. For clarity and your peace of mind we
provide a break down listing exactly what is included to help you with
your decision.
The majority of conservatories don’t require planning due to the relaxed permitted developments. However,
our trained staff can assess your project and can carry out the
application on your behalf, if required.
