short-cut tool button instead of the right-click of a mouse. The reduced menu levels improve the user-friendly interface in a major way.

surveillance needs, but it also easily upgrades from medium- to large-scale central monitoring systems. The software is designed to use different functionality module assemblies in order to satisfy different scale monitoring systems.

• Powerful Central Monitoring System– The central monitoring system software can be used to remotely setup the parameters of

the devices, remote video controls, remote server health monitoring features, and remote sensor triggered alarm systems.

• Improved Complete User Management System– The system includes an improved complete user authentication system model which adopts

many of Microsoft Windows’ user management mechanisms and satisfies the needs of a multi-user environment in medium- to large-scale systems. The system also uses the media video server to solve issues of bandwidth bottlenecking, LAN/WAN, and multi-client visiting. It is designed to efficiently use available bandwidth.

• Storage and Index of Recording Files– How a system stores the recording files is quite important. Centralized recording or off-site

recording are two available options. The software supports several types of data medias including IDE, SATA, SCSI, fiber optics and DAS, NAS, SAN network recording solutions. Data redundancy for certain applications is also available.

• System Compatibility and Expandability – We provide complete Application Programming Interface (API) for customers developing

access control, point of sales, and Geographic Information System (GIS) to integrate with video surveillance.

Global Command Management System Introduction

• The front-end server captures the multi-video/audio signals, shows real-time preview, compresses, stores, and transmits the data. The server also controls the PTZs; connects external sensors, output alarms, and other devices.

• The basic remote client can log on using basic remote client software or a web browser for monitoring.

• The professional remote client has the ability to group the front-end servers; using centralized user management to store the remote data on a centralized server and event logs for recordings, alarms, monitoring centers, and all other data information. The professional remote client also has the ability to setup user rights for different authority levels and assign rights for all front-end servers and parameter setup.

• The enterprise version remote client software is suitable for enterprise level clients who will use it to remotely manage the central monitoring center and front-end servers setup as well as configure, monitor, and manage. All versions of the software are based on a modulated design that plugs in easily.
