I wanted to personally send you an email to tell you a bit more about salem District people service society (Tamilnadu)and an exciting new opportunity we have been given!

salem District people service society works in health program providing prevention, support and reinsertion to children, women and youth. Since we were founded in 2005 we have assisted 300 beneficiaries (peoples living with HIV).

Just recently, we were selected by the GlobalGiving Foundation to participate in its Open Challenge, a fundraising opportunity for nonprofit organizations working around the world.

In order to succeed in GlobalGiving’s Open Challenge, salem District people service society must raise $4,000 from 50 donors by 31 August 2011. If we meet this threshold, we will be given a permanent spot on GlobalGiving’s website, where we have the potential to benefit from corporate relationships, exposure to a new donor network, and access to dozens of online fundraising tools.
