Dear Students,

I am happy to hear about your interest in Kinderenergy's Global Peacemaker's Program which takes place at the UN Headquarters in New York City. Please find a list of the documents needed in application. The application fee is 30.00 euros and the link is found online and filled out online. The 4 following documents are part of application process:

1. Application Form: Find link on Kinderenergy website http://kinderenergy.org/united-nations

2. Resume/CV: must not be more than one page long and in English.

3. Essay: Motivation Essay Submit a 1-2 page essay (attach to application or printed submission) addressing the following points:

a. Explain why children should be considered a natural resource protected by all States. b. Discuss how the Global Peacemaker's Program relates to your current coursework and career

4. Letter of Recommendation 1 letter of recommendation must be sent to headquarters@kinderenergy.org, attention: Elisabeth Delgado. This letter cannot be from a family member or friend but preferably come from a teacher or employer.

5. Transcript Submit a copy of your academic transcript (attach to application or printed submitted separately) from all colleges and universities.

Application forms must be in English and must to be turned in via email by deadline: February 20, 2020.

Interviews will begin February 15, 2020 in person or via Skype.

Please read the attached pdf for information regarding housing and travel. Cost of program is 1000 euros and does not include flight to NY, housing, food insurance or costs while you are in NY. If you are interested in Kinderenergy helping you find shared housing, you must notify us immediately. 50% of the cost of program must be paid once you are accepted into the program. The remaining must be made by May 1, 2020
