Global warming refers to the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans in recent decades and its projected continuation.

The term "global warming" is a specific example of the broader term climate change, which can also refer to global cooling. In common usage the term refers to recent warming and implies a human influence. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) uses the term "climate change" for human-caused change, and "climate variability" for other changes.

The term "anthropogenic global warming" is sometimes used when focusing on human-induced changes.

"… those who are absolutely certain that the rise in temperatures is due solely to carbon dioxide have no scientific justification. It's pure guesswork." - Henrik Svensmark, Director of the Centre for Sun-Climate Research, Danish National Space Centre

WE ALL ARE SAYING THAT WE ARE SUFFERING FROM GLOBAL WARMING IS RUINING US FROM INSIDE SLOWLY AND SLOWLY.

BUT,CAN YOU LIST OUT THE MAIN CAUSES FOR IT ?? THEY CAN BE AS FOLLOWS :

Carbon Dioxide from Power Plants

 Carbon Dioxide Emitted from Cars

Carbon Dioxide from Airplanes

Carbon Dioxide from Buildings

Methane

 Nitrous oxide

 Deforestation

City Gridlock

Carbon in Atmosphere and Ocean

Permafrost

The predicted effects of global warming on the environment and for human life are numerous and varied. It is generally difficult to attribute specific natural phenomena to long-term causes, but some effects of recent climate change may already be occurring. Rising sea levels, glacier retreat, and altered patterns of agriculture are cited as direct consequences, but predictions for secondary and regional effects include extreme weather events, an expansion of tropical diseases, and drastic economic impact. Concerns have led to political activism advocating proposals to mitigate, eliminate, or adapt to it. It effects the

weather

Increased evaporation

Cost of more extreme weather

Destabilization of local climates

Glacier retreat and disappearance

IT AFFECTS OCEANS ADVERSELY BY Sea level rise, Temperature rise, Acidification, Shutdown of thermohaline circulation .

GLOBAL WARMING IS YHE VAST SCENARIO WHICH IS AFFECTING THE WORLD GRAPH IN MANY WAYS LIKE IT IS GIVING ITS PATCHES TO ECOSYSTEMS, Ecological productivity, Methane release from melting permafrost peat bogs, Methane release from hydrates ARE AFFECTIND THE CLIMATE OF THE WORLD, Carbon cycle feedbacks, Forest fires, Retreat of sea ice GIVING THEIR IMPACT ON AGRICULTURE.EVEN POLAR ICE IS MELTING TOO.

Bleaching of Coral Reefs

When coral reefs are thought of, warm images of vibrant multi-colored creatures and corals emerge from our imaginations. Mental pictures of a bustling biodiversity of animals, invertebrates, and plants congregate around the coral reef that acts as a glue holding together the shallow waters of the underwater realm. Yet, many of the worlds most beautiful and important coral reefs are losing their color as well as their lives, due to the bleaching of corals that has been spreading all around the world.

Preventive diplomacy in general is oriented towards a wide range of options:certain events should not occur at all;certain events should be prevented from escalating (conflict damage control);consequences of certain events, that cannot be prevented, should be mitigated.

Preventions:

1.       Raise your voice.

2.        Choose an efficient vehicle

3.        Drive smart. Get your engine tuned up and keep your tires inflated -- both help fuel efficiency.

4.       Drive less. When possible, choose alternatives to driving (public transit, biking, walking, carpooling), and bundle your errands together so you'll make fewer trips.

5.        Buy energy-efficient appliances.

6.        Replace your light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs

7.        Weatherize your home or apartment

8.        Choose renewable energy. If you live in a state where you can choose your electricity supplier, pick a company that generates at least half its power from wind, solar energy and other clean sources.

9.        Buy clean energy certificates. Another way to help spur the renewable energy market and cut global warming pollution is to buy "wind certificates" or "green tags," which represent clean power you can add to the nation's energy grid in place of electricity from fossil fuels.

SO, CESSTIONALY IT’S THE TIME TO REMARK THAT THE GLOBAL WARMING IS CURBING OUR EARTH IN ITS TRAP AND LEADING US TOWARDS DEATH…….SO, IT’S THE TIME TO ACT…OR IT WILL BE

NOW OR NEVER
