Machines for performing the waving operation is subjected to patent protection in Polish Patent Office. This is a result of continuous production improvement process. The hardening process of hacksaw blades made from carbon steel in induction furnace ensures the proper and repetitive teeth hardness

Many years of experience result in optimal production technology. Hacksaw blade teeth are shaped with special milling cutter that ensures the repetitive rake angle on the whole hacksaw length Teeth are not set but waved. Such construction ensures longer life of the blade.

The quality of hacksaw blades is continuously controlled, starting from receiving the raw material till testing the hacksaw blade life on a special device for test cutting.

Operating conditions for hand hacksaw blades:1. The hacksaw blade with the proper toothing

should be selected in accordance with particular material cutting purpose (pre-selection shown in the table below),

2. When selecting the hacksaw blade it should be considered that min. 3 teeth take part in cutting process

3. If possible, it is recommended to cut using the whole cutting length, 50-60 strokes/min.

4. To avoid blade blocking in cutting material it is recommended to turn the cutting material to the other side when changing the blade

5. The hacksaw blade should be used in frames with high tension (GLOBUS brand frames are recommended).
