GMH Ringvertriebs GmbH is the sales organisation within the Georgsmarien-

htte Group of Companies with responsibility for seamless rolled rings and

wheel tyres. In this capacity it represents the ring rolling mills of Bahntechnik

Brand-Erbisdorf GmbH, Bochumer Verein Verkehrstechnik GmbH and

Schmiedewerke Grditz GmbH.

CUSTOMER SATISFACTIONCustomer satisfaction as a consensus between what is expected and what is actually

achieved is a fundamental necessity. We set our aims higher, however. And therefore

we have concentrated our sales activities at the Willich location so that together with

our customers, and in our mutual interest, we can make optimum use regarding the

synergies of our three ring rolling mills.

are supported by competent partners who look after our customers directly in the locality

concerned.

SERVICERecent re-organisation of our sales activities enables us to react flexibly to your require-ments and to respond promptly to your wishes. According to the One Face to the

Customer principal, we offer the entire product range of our three ring rolling mills from

one single source.

EXPERTISEIn order to adapt our services to comply with the expectations of individual customer

groups, we have set up our sales organisation within the scope of a key account structure.

Our well experienced sales staff will accompany you throughout the entire process from

the initial enquiry to the delivery of the products (and beyond) and work in close collabo-

ration with our production locations.

EXPERTISE IN STEEL

FLEXIBLE RANGE

The three ring rolling mills of our group of companies offer you a wide range

of products in the field of seamless rolled rings and wheel tyres:

Design: seamless rolled rings with rectangular/profiled cross-section

From simple construction steel grades via quenched and tempered steels

and roller bearing steels to high-alloy steel grades as well as copper and

aluminium alloys

Heat treatment possibilities according to the requirements of national

or international standards and specifications special heat treatment

stipulated in accordance with designated use

Delivery in unmachined, rough machined or finished state

Weight of up to 13 tons

Outer diameter up to 4.5 m

The inclusion of steel companies within the GMH Group, such as Elektrostahl-werke Grditz GmbH, Georgsmarienhtte GmbH, Stahlwerk Bous GmbH and

ESB SPRL, means that our production locations are almost completely inde-

pendent of external deliveries of pre-materials.

Our customers requests and expectations are systemised by means of the

formation and definition of target groups. Our sales organisation has been

arranged in such a way as to enable us to adapt our services to comply with

the expectations of individual groups.

KEY ACCOUNTS

RAILWAY INDUSTRY

We manufacture and supply wheel tyres as well as clamping rings and rim

rings for the railway industry.

In addition to the major European manufacturers of wheel sets, which are

established global players, our customers also include significant European

State Railway Authorities and Private Railway companies as well as Public

Railway Authorities i. e. Tram Cars, Metropolitan Railways and Underground

services.

MECHANICAL AND SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

We produce seamless rectangular and/or profiled rolled r ings and flanges for

the areas of mechanical and systems engineering.

In this market we supply well-known manufacturers from the areas of gear

and engine production, drive engineering, shipbuilding, military engineering,

heavy vehicle construction and mechanical engineering.

ROLLER BEARINGS AND SLEWING RINGS

For the roller bearing and slewing rings sector we supply seamless rectangular

and/or profiled rolled rings.

Our customers include the worlds leading manufacturers of roller bearings and

slewing rings. These parts are used, for example, in construction machines, in

wind turbines, in agriculture and forestry, in medical technology, in materials

handling technology as well as in mining and tunnel construction.

ANTI-CORROSION, ACID AND HEAT-RESISTANTSTEELS, DIES, SPECIAL APPLICATIONS

In the dies and special applications sector we supply seamless rectangular

and/or profiled rolled rings and flanges, for example to manufacturers of pellet

production plants and dies all over the world, companies involved in vessel

and boiler construction, the oil and gas industry, turbine construction as well

as the food industry.

QUALITY

Due to state-of-the art production methods and a perfectly organised logistics

system, our three production locations guarantee high quality as well as short

delivery periods. Status as a top-class or preferred supplier represents a per-

manent obligation for ongoing optimisation of the QM system and the skills of

our employees.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND

QUALITY MANAGEMENT

The worldwide use of our products means collaboration is required within the

scope of their qualification with a wide range of very different international

qualification and certification societies.

The integrated management system of the Schmiedewerke Grditz GmbH,

Bochumer Verein Verkehrstechnik GmbH and Bahntechnik Brand-Erbisdorf

GmbH is certified in compliance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO

14001 and is being constantly expanded as well as optimised.

For many years now all three locations have been classified as DB Q1 sup-

pliers. Furthermore, in 2010 our plant in Grditz was awarded the distinction

of Outstanding Supplier of the Deutsche Bahn AG. In addition we are hold-

ers of authorisations from many European and international railway compa-

nies (e.g. SBB, BB, NS, SNCF, SNCB, AAR, NSB) and certification societies

(e.g. Germanischer Lloyd, Det Norske Veritas, Bureau Veritas, TV).
